Speaking of CCP, here's an interesting book. It's fiction and a lot of people will poo-poo the plot as simply conspiracy theories. The author is C.J. Box and the title of the book is Storm Watch. I think it reflects on a lot of what is happening in the US right now.

No, no we don't. He might play in four more games but we won't get to see any crushing hits. When was the last time he hit anybody? All we see is him flipping the puck out of the D zone. Although if the right opportunity arises, like the season is about to end, maybe we will.

It's hard to understand their #12 PWR ranking with that schedule and those results.

I suspect you are right, but if it gets challenged it would be interesting to see how the new commish handles it.

I really didn't know where this topic should go so here probably works. I was reading about all the tournaments going on in GF this weekend (which is great!) and there was mention of a kid that has played in the WHL so he is ineligible for college hockey. Given that there are college athletes hauling in millions from NIL, I wonder what the chances are that if this was challenged in court that the NC$$ would get their ass handed to them again. Pretty high I would think.

The refs have neutered Tyler. They have made it impossible for him to play his game. I would love to see him come back but (from his perspective) what's the point?

Of all the majors called on UND this season, this one was just bad luck. Can't really blame Gaber, it was a fast hockey play. But it will get called every time. Gotta be glad it wasn't out for the game.
