I don't mind if individual businesses want to use it, I just don't want the city or the chamber of commerce to keep using it on every piece of literature or promotional acitivity the city does.

Wow, it was a close vote but the Sioux climb back on top again.

Even though it might suck for some of the fans of the other schools, the money is definitely the issue for all of the schools of the WCHA.

After watching Moreland play a lot of games this year, I'm convinced he could play for the Sioux and I would love to see another Grand Forks kid playing for the Sioux.

I really hate the Grand Cities moniker. I hope it does die and is no longer used in every single promotion the city does.

I expressed my interest in Victory Sports to Midco in an email and received a response that said they would take my suggestion into consideration. Baseball season is right around the corner so they had better start thinking about what they are going to do.

Brandt definitely stepped up and solidified his spot at the #1 goalie on this team. The defense also played well in front of him, but those two big wins were made possible by Jake playing a solid series.

That was a very huge win for the Sioux. They came in for the first time as the underdog all year and showed they can play a great opponent in a tough atmosphere.

I haven't thought about Heavy Metal Hockey in a long time. That was great.

The friday night's game against BC was one of the best games in the new REA. The come from behind win was very loud and was a great game to be at.

I noticed that tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday for the first round of the WCHA playoffs. I really haven't even heard much about this or even read it in the paper, if it wasn't for me going to ticketmaster.com and checking out available seats for the Tech series, I would have never known this. One question, do student season ticket holders get a chance to buy their seats? This doesn't pertain to me, I am just curious.

I'm a huge wild fan, but Hendrickson is not worth a 2nd round pick. He's a role player who has had an all right pro career. He was traded along with an 8th round draft choice to Colorado, for a 4th round choice. Hendrickson had been playing in the AHL for Houston.
