Actually, I know that Grant was recruited by a couple NCC schools. We'll have to agree to disagree on this, just not sure Lindahl is the savior you are making him out to be. I don't think Lindahl is good enough yet to be calling any player, a "poor man's Lindahl".

I've never said they are not legitimate issues. My point was that UND and Kupchella can only pick so many fights before the students feel like they are realling getting screwed over and being forced by the administration to conform to their standards. They will only be happy when the students have one section in the upper bowl in the corner.

I totally disagree about Grant. I think this kid might not be as quick as Lindahl, but he is a way better shooter and this causes problems for other defenses because of his size and his ability to shoot so well from the outside. I watched him play a couple games in high school and now in college and think he is a lot better than you give him credit for.

It is kind of funny to step back and take a closer look at this situation. They should have picked a fight with the all the vulgar language and racist comments, rather than throw a fit and make a bunch of threats over students standing. I guess students standing was more of a problem to the ralph and UND than swearing was.

I would love to see Columbia 4 turn into a cheap theatre. Cinema grille didn't work in Fargo so don't really think it would work in grand forks either.

I think the Carmike reps are mad because they are going to actually have some competition in this market. They might actually have rethink what is played on their movie screens in the future. They might also have to think about upgrading their theatres as well. The competition will only bring better services to Grand Forks.

I'm disappointed also, but it is a fair process and these people obviously shelled out a lot of money for a good cause.

What a stupid and irrelevant point. Who cares if Fargo has more television stations, that really makes yours points more accurate than I guess, because Fargo has more stations than Grand Forks.

I love watching both college and pro hockey. I'd rather watch grass grow than watch golf on tv, and I play a couple of rounds a week in the summer.

RT does go about this in a lot better fashion than Kupchella. It is a lot easier to understand and swallow when it is said in a way that isn't so one-sided.

I agree with you. I don't understand this at all. I believe that if since the Betty will be built, why don't they just schedule most of the games in there. There will not be many games that overfilling the Betty will be an issue anyways. I also heard Bruce McLeod, commissioner of the WCHA, talking about how it was getting very tough to schedule games because of teams like UND that were using their facility as a multi-purpose one. He added that long-stretches of home games and away games were going to be something that teams would see because of this.

UND was swept in Wisconsin during the 01-02 season and did not win the NCAA title that year.

I think that this will be a must the next time they do it. It also must be a lot of work for the people doing this.

I'm very surprised to read that story this morning. I've already heard that a lot of NDSU students are not happy about this. Just because the student senate passed the resolution supporting the increase, does not mean this will silence the students on this issue.
