Anyone catch Ed on CSPAN this morning for an hour with Brian Lamb? I did, he was entertaining as usual. It will be interesting to see how well his show will do. I don't agree with most of what comes out of his mouth, but listen to his show for entertainment.

I don't mind analyzing things either, but picking apart how Smaby is passing the puck and attributing that to our failed power play is really reaching.

Can everyone just stop analyzing every little issue for a little bit. It is early in the season, there is still a lot of hockey to play. The power play will come along. A lot of people on here think they are a better coach than Blais and a better player than Parise.

I seen where they issued a bench minor to the fans of the gophers this weekend.

It would be nice to get over the hump with this team. They have been our nemesis over the past couple of years and a win against them would be a huge psychological and emotional lift for this team.

Just a couple of years ago, there were at least five gophers thrown on the ice after a goal.

ScottM I agree with alot of what you said, but Wild fans are making it sound like they don't need this guy and will win without him. That might be true, but they are in dire need of some offense and this guy has the potential of being one of the top elite players in the league.

He doesn't screen calls, just like everyone else on radio. He gets people's emotions stirred up and is entertaining, but his change in party affiliation over the past couple of years makes him less credible and therefore just another blowhard liberal.

Just hoping Parise doesn't get worn down at the end of the season like he did last year.

If they don't sign Gaborik, think there will be any kind of backlash from the fans? The Wild keeps saying that they don't need to sign him, because they are still filling the seats of the Xcel.
