Even though i'm a sioux fan I still like to watch the gophers play because they are a good team, they are fun to watch, and it is college hockey.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't Iowa State have a pretty respectable club hockey team right now. They compete with teams from all over the place; minot state, penn state?

I guess I feel a little different about people selling their tickets. If they have some and are trying to get rid of them, I still feel they are dumping them because you couldn't pay me enough money to give up my tickets for this weekend.

I mentioned that the metrodome gives the vikes a lot of advantage over visitng opponents. I just have been spoiled by visiting a lot of newer football and baseball stadiums across the country. The metrodome is probably the most boring place to watch baseball, especially during the regular season, their concourse sucks. they could probably have a bigger football stadium and still fill it to capactiy also. I don't know, my feelings are still mixed.

I believe they are waiting until the polls closed to make any predictions, don't want another Florida debacle.

I have no doubt there are conservatives against the names, just like there are liberals that see nothing wrong with them. We live in a culture now that likes to paint everyone a certain color, either liberal or conservative. Politics have never been more divisive in a country than they are today.

I laughed when I read the quote of there being 8 or 9 players out there and you better get maybe three of them. Now that is some serious recruiting if you can do that every year.

The vikes need a retractable roof stadium. The metrodome offers some serious home field advantage, but it is a very generic place and doesn't have much to offer for the average fan.

I love the outdoors, until it gets too cold that the fans are focusing on the weather rather than focus on the game.

by the looks of the buy/sell/trade board on theralph.com, it looks like a lot of people are trying to dump their tickets. I'm hoping that the people who can't attend, sell/give/barter their tickets away.
