Will be there. This is a bit of a loser attitude but ORU is the class of the Summit this year so I just want to keep it close. I feel like they’re a tougher matchup for us than SDSU was last year.

Think the spacing if we continue shooting it like this could benefit Brooks? He is a fantastic finisher around the rim but other than that doesn’t even look at the rim really.

Looks like Korey Tai out of Illinois committed to UND.

I think Brooks is a way better finisher and natural defender than Danielson. Not saying I would trade Brooks minutes for Danielson.

Think Sather did a much better job with rotations. Only complaint would be Brooks not playing at all especially with Grant playing.

On the point guard piece, we did go after Kai Huntsberry and Themus Fulks and I think we thought we had a good chance at at least one of them but they ended up at North Texas and Louisiana, respectively.

Is Schiller going to be someone that can bump this program up to the next gear? Talking being right there with the SD schools (I know USD is down this year but SDSU is in a league of their own). Every time I open the herald website Schiller is putting up numbers. She had 29-7-5 last night against West Fargo which has Mirley Simon, an NDSU commit.

2 of our 3 commits for next year are from Bismarck and the other is from St. Francis, MN.

I want bowl seating, or what we can do, and fans closer to the court. At the Omaha game, fans were sitting courtside. I feel like many years ago we had true courtside seating too for at least some games.

From this point going forward, I want to see majority of the minutes dedicated to those that are (hopefully) going to help us in the future. Eaglestaff, Omot and Brooks would be my main concern but add in Levias, Mathews, T, Norman and Trent and I’m good. I’m a Danielson fan because of the way he plays the game so if he’s playing so be it but he shouldn’t be playing 20+ mins a game. I don’t think Sueker or Nero need to play at all. Neither provides any D and really no offense either. Reid Grant could be a nice D2 point guard. Think he’s smart but just not a D1 guy. This is D1 basketball, not every one needs to play in each game. The season is basically a lost cause barring some magical run in the tournament so at least develop your guys as much as you can unless you’re just wanting to go down with the sinking ship. I feel like such a broken record saying all this.

I feel like the Vikings and UND seem to mirror eachother many years.

That’s true. I think we have some of the players where we could really push the floor but we don’t. We have to be towards the bottom in fast break points.

I don’t think so. Just need some capable bodies to get the ball up the court.

I know there was some talk about using Trey as PG. I’m not opposed to that. Trent doesn’t necessarily do anything to make the offense run. Think Trey could do it better probably. Defensively is another topic.

Sounds like we should just be thankful for winning a game this year with our lack of money. Guess I should stop expecting to be competitive in the Summit.

The one nice thing about the transfer portal is it can turn a program around real quick. Have the right coach in and the players will come.
