  1. I didn't say it was his fault, I said earlier it should not have been five ... and a bad bounce is a soft goal, not blaming our goalie at all. It happens, then they got one back. With all the people chirpin on here, your arguin with the wrong guy. I agree. not a dirty hit and not a goalie or defensive breakdown. Don't misinterpret what I was saying. GO SIOUX!
  2. You realize the trainer make them stay down right? Its not even their choice; they hit the boards like awkwardly, they have to stay still until the trainers tell them to get up. I don't deny diving and cheap crap happens, but if you see the way he hit the boards, they were just making sure he was ok. The trainers don't care about penalties, their jobs and licenses and futures are on line if they don't follow protocol.
  3. and there you go, back to a 2 goal lead, keep rollin boys
  4. Get over it people, if a UND guy had hit the boards like that you'd be whining the other way. It was a tough hit, probably should have been two, not five, but we let in a soft goal. Get over it, and lets get back to putting up numbers.
  5. More likely that the trainers made him stay down and still until they made sure it was safe for him to move. Didn't look like a major or a CFB to me, but he definitely hit the boards awkwardly.
  6. Agreed, from the NDSU fans I know, the guy behind Brock is supposed to be a better player physically; if he can play the game like Brock mentally, they'll be in the hunt again next season. I don't think the bison are in a position to need a FBS transfer. He might be able to help UND if we hadn't lost our entire receiving core; but i think we def have some promise in our QBs. Hopefully Bubba can scheme better than Muss.
  7. I think that was me, I said I was hoping for better play from him after the Wisco game, and he stepped up. Great game for Schuler, and great game for the Sioux.
  8. I should re-phrase, I'm not so much dissappointed in Schuler as I would like to see him take a few more shots. I am just hoping that going forward he will be able to take some of the pressure off guys like Huff. Which I'm sure he will, as he won't be matching up against teams like Wisco. Really was a fun game to watch, and very impressive to score that many point on Wisco, and keep it that close when you have the badgers shooting lights out. If they play like that against NDSU, they should be able to take care of business, but it will still be a tought game. Can't wait!
  9. True, kind of the story for a lot of this game, we were just out sized. Although, it is incredible to watch Anderson play so well despite always being the smallest guy on the court. Regardless, tonight showed a ton of promise, and if we can carry that into our Big Sky schedule, this team could go a long way. Should be a very fun season!
  10. A little disappointed with guys like Schuler and Antwii. We'll need them to step up and make some more plays throughout the year if we're going to beat some of the better teams, or if there are injuryies. Hopefully Brekke can get back .... anyone know his status (I haven't followed it closely)? Could still try to get that signature win this year, with Oregon and Butler on the schedule ... Not likely, certainly possible!
  11. To keep that game under 20 against a program like that, on a night the Kaminsky plays like that ... Pretty Impressive
  12. ... I know, right?
  13. He can probably fight better ... doesn't take much
  14. Beast Mode
  15. We're definitely outsized, but you can't do much about that. Huff is a Beast, Anderson is playing well, Nash is looking good ... but we need better stuff from the rest of the team. Schuler and Antwi need to do a little more. Lets remember we won't be playing the 15th ranked team in the country all year. Should be a very promising year for this team.
  16. Hak can stick around for years. He could get a little more creative in his schemes, but the guy has had some impressive teams. Once he gets a championship (and it will happen) there will be alot of people changing their positions.
  17. Any word from UND regarding webcast improvements? I was impressed with the webcast initially, but the US-U18 game was so terrible I almost turned it off several times. Skipping, extremely glitchy and blurred images. It was almost like the camera could not keep up when it had to follow plays. Extremely dissappointing to see a product like that after commiting to a full years payment. Hoping to see a big improvement this weekend!
  18. I know NDSU is supposed to be strong this year, but so is UND. My estimation is that when you start getting farther down the list it is all stat based and pretty innaccurate anyway. Plus the Bison have, at least, had some big wins and a tourney appearance in their recent history. This could be a huge year for UND ... alot of talent, plenty of players returning, and some big games to prove themselves. No doubt that if this team plays to its potential it could be a tourney team. Could be the best UND/NDSU game in a while as well. Very much looking forward to the season starting, and I'm not typically a big basketball fan, but over the past few seasons UND has really got my interest.
  19. It looks like Friday's game is on CBS SN, but does anyone know what the viewing options are for Saturday? Does Miami have any webcast options? Big series for the Sioux, looking forward to some good games.
  20. Can't argue with that, paying for a service we should expect it to be flawless.
  21. Overall I thought the webcast was really good, much better than I expected. It would be nice if it didn't just cut to black to the TV timeouts though. Why don't they just broadcast the commercials that are on TV. Thats what most other webcasts do. Id be all about watching some of the old GF commercials I used to see in college, haha ... it would be better than a silent black screen.
  22. Mine did the same thing on the penalty shot. That when I stopped trying to watch live and I watched at about a 1-2 minute delay. That seemed to solve the freezing problem. Hopefully they continue to make improvements.
  23. Just wanted to get a concencus on how the webcast worked for people? I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was for the first game. The HD was a great improvement, and I didn't have any issues with the game being glitchy or pixilated. About half way through the game I did see some issues with the screen freezing and having to refresh. I think it was starting to have some buffering issues or something, I just dragged the tracker back and watched the game at about a minute delay and didnt have any problems the rest of the game. I'm sure this isn't as high traffic of a game as we'll see with the regular season, but for a first go it seemed pretty good. Now if they can just get rid of Dan Hammer ... he is just awful.
  24. Lennon has D1 experience, and is certainly a better coach than Muss, I wouldn't want Muss if we were still a D2 program. In his time here we have yet to win a big game. Beating Montana in a down year is probably the best he has done. Fresno State, SanDSU could have both been wins. Then back to back blowout losses to Montana and Montana State; with likely another one coming against E.Washington. Losing all faith in this team, not because of the losses, but how they are losing. There is just no defense on this team.
  25. k my bad for putting up the thread. I thought it might transpire into discussing some new coaching option for next year (clearly not Craig Bohl). I really don't know what coaching options are out there, but i don't think Muss is the guy for the job.
