  1. Positivity! Though playing like tonight and we could miss the tourney ... hope not though.
  2. I told my wife after the 1st, this will be a game of too little too late. Score to make it look within reach, but too late. Someone said it a week ago, this is a team that needs to just make the tourney, and then look to win 4, regardless of seed.
  3. Glass half full: when the team plays like this, we don't have to worry about early departures!
  4. I won't turn the game off, cuz I'm not THAT guy, but Netflix sounds pretty appealing right now.
  5. THIS ... we're down a few goals (after disallowed goals, which the refs got right) our team is the problem, not the refs.
  6. Thanks for making me look like the a- hole with what was supposed to be harmless humor.
  7. Can Boeser have another wrist surgery this week? That seemed to help his game last time.
  8. All we can do right now is put on our Miami jerseys and give it a shot.
  9. Don't hate on biddco, he's been more than tolerable, when he could be obnoxious. UND vs UMD had been just pathetic this year. Not competitive at all. Hate on the kids playin like crap.
  10. Boys looks like !@#$ tonight, all around
  11. Good to know. Hopefully they see some good stuff this weekend too. They probably don't care much about a win or a loss, but seeing the energy of the crowd, during a good game, in that building ... had to leave a bit of an impression.
  12. That was fast! I had just copied that over. I'd be happy thrilled with Bull and Rousemiller.
  13. Per SFI, this is who we can expect on campus this weekend: Noah Larson (commit) ILB – Baraboo HS – Baraboo, WI Ty Shannon (commit) S – Ralston Valley HS – Arvada, CO Wil Prine (commit) OL – Lewis Central HS – Council Bluffs, IA Kyle Hietpas (commit) CB – Little Chute HS – Little Chute, WI Mikey Griebel (commit) WR – Columbine HS – Littleton, CO Ezekiel Ott (commit) DE – Caledonia HS – Caledonia, MN Bryden Swenson (commit) OLB – KCC HS – Hallock, MN Dontae Bull – OL – Belmont HS – Victoria, British Columbia Israel Adeoti – WR – Plano HS – Plano, IL Eric Rousemiller – OL – Lakeville South HS – Lakeville, MN Austin Lohsandt – OL – Madison HS – Madison, SD Great to see some of the names that are already committed. Especially Ott, hopefully he had a great visit, to prevent any though of moving to the Goofers. Love that Dontae Bull will be on campus, since he committed to Fresno St; Maybe a switch?!?!. Glad to see Rousemiller will be here as well, I believe it is us or a PWO at the U. Hope to hear of a commitment this weekend. Love the focus on OL, but will be excited to hear about whoever commits. Can anyone shed some light on what happens on these recruiting weekends? I assume they tour campus and the facilities, and meet with some of the players and coaches. Will they be taken to the hockey game? I only ask because it seems like a good recruiting too ... not to watch hockey but to see the Ralph, get the experience, see the fan base, etc.
  14. Thats pretty impressive. And credit to Jones and the players for improving the FT shooting. That has been something that has killed this team in the past. Great to see the improvement. Hopefully they sustain it.
  15. So clearly hooker and crandall are our most dominant players, but to beat one of the best team with Avants having such an off night is pretty awesome. He is another guy who can step in and dominate a game, when he is on. Just hope these guys keep winning and then hit on all cylinders in Reno.
  16. Totally agree! Crandall was playing like he was possessed.
  17. I get that, and in some ways, it is even understandable. They get the attention, they get the media coverage, they get the funding, they get a ton of fans. At the same time, they are doing what they were brought on campus to do. Just like you don't see the basketball players at hockey, you don't see a large mob of football players at the hockey game gettin rowdy either. Personally, I think it is awesome when athletic teams support each other, but the hockey team is the only one that ever seems to get bashed on for not doing it. When there are plenty of other athletic teams, and on campus groups who don't attend each others events. The ironic part is the hockey team may not be liked by some of the other athletes on campus, and maybe it is different than when I was in school in the mid-2000s, but the hockey players seem like they were one of the nicer groups of athletes. Extremely friendly, in and out of class. Heck I was walking around looking for a seat in a packed dining hall and Jordan Parise taps me on the should to let me know they had an extra seat at their table. Some of the basketball players were cool, but at that time, some of the football players were the biggest bunch of jerks. You would have though they were all playing in the NFL with their arrogance. Not saying it was all of them, but definitely a good chunk of them. Again, that was then, this is now. I just don't think that it is necessary to call out a group of athletes for not being supportive, when they show up at an event ... because they were late or weren't loud enough. Especially when you have zero idea of what else they had going on .... practice, studying, etc.
  18. Why take a jab at the hockey team. Glad they were there supporting the basketball player. Would it be nice if they were loud and pumping up the crowd, sure, but at least they were there. Was the soccer team there? Swimming and diving? Women's hockey? Each of the greek houses? On campus church organization, Etc? I guess it's just easier to single out the most popular and recognizable group on campus for not living up to your standards. As for being late, what jerks. Maybe they were practicing? At church? Vandalizing university property? Studying? ... you should probably have them bring you a signed parental note for the next game. No need to call out a group of kids for something as stupid as this. Prob could have just left it at, the Football team showed some great support.
  19. Possibly the most entertaining game I've seen from UND. A lot of fun to see the back and forth play, the lead changed, Crandall and Hooker with big nights. A nice win over a good team. Just a fun one to watch.
  20. If you want to catch trolls, you gotta use the right bait!
  21. Seems pretty consistent with the way our government handles things. Why cut spending, when you can just raise taxes?
