  1. For Nate the night before UND comes to town.
  2. He was a pretty hyped recruit, but I do hope to see him RS. Kid could be a monster after a year or two.
  3. That kind of joke should really be reserved for the Bison or Gophers ... Nevertheless !!!
  4. sounds like another D line commit. Blake Fehrmann? Edit: not Fehrmann. Someone from Canada.
  5. Actually, Minnesota didn't really want him anyway.
  6. This is pretty much what I would have said. Biggest think I'm torn on is if Adeoti and Griebel both get their RS pulled along with Mckinney (who I am assuming will not RS as he was with the team in the spring (right?). A lot of talent coming in!
  7. Bahahah
  8. Per Schloss, Kleven has commit to UND
  9. Yeah, there are definitely exceptions where I would leave early.
  10. Probably true, I'm also one of those where once I have spent money on a ticket, I'm going to stick it out. Though I guess with students that isn't always a factor. True point though.
  11. I never understood that though process. What is the point of going to a game, if you aren't going to watch the whole thing to see what happens. People don't generally leave a hockey game after 2 periods. Heck, even if UND football is leaving, we have all see comebacks happen, particularly last year. I just don't get it.
  12. Thank you for that detailed analysis.
  13. I see he got an offer from the bison and has seemed to like a lot of tweets from the other bison commits. Hope that is becuz they are buds and not because he is leaning that way. Kid would be a great get for UND.
  14. I think with a lot of those bigger schools, there are just more fans to go around.
  15. Thanks a lot! I'm innocent though, there was Russian interference with my SS account!
  16. LMAO, total brain fart there. So damn funny. Haha, can't even believe I wrote that.
  17. Tyler Burian‏ @TylerBurian 45m45 minutes ago Excited to announce my commitment to play football at the University of North Dakota. Thank you to everyone who made this possible #jets
  18. So are we still waiting to add 1 more player for this season, or are we good to go? Anyone know when the schedule is going to come out?
  19. I'm planning my weekends up from the cities too. Really wanted to do Montana St game, but kid has an event. Not sure I want to spend the money on tickets for a Gopher series but hoping to get up there for the football game. Definitely want to make it for the E Wash/Miami games. Hope the E Wash game is a meaningful one. Though just beating E Wash is meaningful in itself.
  20. Have to imagine that the more UND see success in Football the more start times will be dictated by tv/broadcast availability. Not sure how that all works, but would have to imagine that will factor into it.
  21. I feel like when I was younger I saw the gophers play professional teams from Europe in exhibitions. Could be wrong, or I suppose rules could have changed since then; but I remember them skating around looking like they belonged in NASCAR with the advertisements all over their equipment.
  22. ok gfhockey, its an old post, but with Swimming gone, when are we getting our new football stadium?
  23. Crazy to think those two plays are what kept the game close. Other than that UND played a pretty nice game, especially on D. Wish O has been clicking like they were later in the year. That final play is frustrating.
  24. When does camp start again? Should be an exciting month ahead. We get to work towards Week 1 @ Utah, we will finally get some more football reading material, and we will see which true freshman are going to get the redshirts pulled to start the season. At this point, I'm even exited to see the updated roster and see who has done the work in the weight room.
  25. ok guys, realistic thoughts. How much does the loss of Harris for UND AND the addition of Carrington for Utah impact this game. We have some depth at corner, but anyone we thing will be able to keep this guy in check, or at least limit his production? It'll be the first game, so I'm hoping they won't be clicking on all cylinders yet. I also expect UND to dial up pressure up front and get to the QB; can't let him have time to find his targets. Safety becomes extremely important now, because if I remember right it was blown safety coverage one 1, if not 2, TDs last year at bowling green that cost us the game. I'd like to think we will keep the run game in check, but the missing on a deep pass always makes me nervous. Can we just move the game from Aug 31 to July 31?
