True, we do need some guys finish the play. Team played well, but frustrating to watch UND outplay a team and still lose.

It's like the 5th game of the season with a young team. We just lost two experienced 1st rounders. We are ranked 4th and outplayed, thought lost, to a top ten team. Not TOO much to whine about. This team will develop, this year and the next few. Gotta split, but it was hardly a bad loss.

It was a good game. Could have won. Truly, Schierhorn played great. Sucks to lose, but a split would be ok in the pairwise. Goods are a solid team. Let's win tomorrow!

I don't just want to see two wins this weekend. I want to see UND win two dominating blowouts.

Which number is higher ... Goals scored by the Goofs or Number of pull ups by Mittelstadt? I'll say an Even line at 0!

If people get jacked for the game, and look forward to watching it, and reminisce about all their memories from previous match ups, etc. it IS a rivalry game. That doesn't mean it has the same implications as other rivalry games (ex. Denver), but it is still a rivalry game. A rivalry game does not always have direct implications on the success of the that particular season. A sports rivalry is intense competition between athletic teams or athletes, but not directly related to the formal sport and the practice thereof. This pressure of competition is felt by players, coaches, and management, but is perhaps felt strongest by the fans.

The game day committee has decided the best way to raise and sustain attendance across football and all sports is to offer Free Beer at all events. In other news, Grand Forks expects to see a large number of Canadian immigrants over the next 12 months.

This rivalry has certainly cooled since the Big 10 started. But now that it is up an running again every year, if you get some close games, some dirty games, some back and forth games, and maybe some postseason games, it'll heat right back up. Unfortunately, it will probably never get back to where it was. That rivalry was great because we had a chance to play them up to 6 times in a season. That is a whole lot of rivalry hockey.

is FSN really not going to pick up these games?

Maybe the student could do some pullups on the glass during the gopher warm ups. Show Mr Mittlestadt, that even you average college beer drinker should be able to do a single pull-up, let along a drafted college athlete.

This image should be lining the glass in the student section, and hopefully behind the Gophers bench too. It is just too good not to use.

I've turned the tv off and am reading a book. So far, much more entertaining.
