    2018 Season

Wish I lived close enough to buy season tickets.
  2. Nice to see some positive new on here. Would like to see some more new period. Its been pretty quiet.
  3. Anyone know, can you buy a single game, and how much is it?
  4. How can you hate a movie that flashes the Sioux logo.
  5. It doesn't have to work, you are already up 7-0. You just have to be able to say you did it. So, stop ruining everyone's childhood with your facts. You may have already missed a Might Duck tidbit that did take place on Saturday night... Its not worth winning, if you CAN'T WIN BIG!!!!!
  6. There is no reason, when UND was up 7-0 this past weekend, we couldn't have pulled out the flying V, just for $hits and giggles. Name one person, other than Sic, that would not have enjoyed that!!!
  7. But its the movie where old ducks and new ducks unite!
  8. I would tend to agree with this, with one exception. I think and NDSU/SDSU game would have been much closer than the JMU/SDSU game was. Both are talented, but are also very familiar with each other. There would have been a revenge factor, a rivalry factor and playoff implications all in one match up. While SHSU isn't a pushover, I do think they end up over rated each year, compared to what they do. No doubt about it, they are a good team, but I think their results are often amplified by specific matchups. They have a high octane offense, amplified by playing some poor defenses. They run into a competent defense that know how to shut down their style and we saw the results. I hope the UND coaches will be looking long and hard at the NDSU/SHSU film to prep for next fall. I would like to believe that a healthy offense will be competent enough to keep us in the game, but that will need to be proven. I do think that a healthy defense should keep us in the game, and I say that with more certainty. I really like that the coaches got SHSU on the schedule next season, and it should be a good measuring stick of where this team is.
  9. I get what you're saying, but every fan base has people like that, including our own. Not looking to kiss NDSU's backside, I just think its a little humorous that folks on here like to talk about how they were going to slide this year, and they got the easy path to Frisco, like this year was some fluke. They've been doing this for years now. I guess i just find it a little petty and whiny.
  10. Hey, I don't like NDSU any more than the next guys I just think its funny that people on this forum were talking about their teams regressing and slipping back a bit, prior to them going back to the Nat'l Championship game, or talking about how they had a cupcake run to the championship, while we have moved on to basketball or hockey. Just sounds like a whole lot of jealous whining to me. If we were sitting where the Bison are, with the same path to the championship, nobody would be talking about a cupcake path. Now I will be pulling for JMU, but to say that the team is where they are because of who they played is a little dumb.
  11. While I too hope that eventually UND can get to where NDSU is competitively. I just don't understand why there is so much bashing on the team. The fans, sure ... The media love, sure, but the team, they have pretty much earned the spot they are in. Talking about a cupcake side of the bracket ... really? They have basically dominated everyone, not sure why we need chalk up that kind of performance to weak opponents, especially from our vantage point at UND. It just like people talking about NDSU slipping before the season started; and now they are in another championship game, with a ridiculous recruiting class coming in. I think folks on this board need to take a little step back in the smack talk of NDSUs team or performance, and focus on our own guys. Lets face it, it is exactly where we want our team to be. I don't much care what NDSU is doing unless we play them next year, which I hope we do. It will mean we are in the playoffs and doing far better than this season.
  12. Drive by it frequently in the summer, and it is absolutely massive. Looks like something from Miami beach. Nice sandy spot out front which is a great place to go park the boat.
  13. So what should we expect next season realistically? First year in summit ... crandal, sealed, Stewart all have talent bijiek should be a player coming in. i only see Buchanan playing better. what should we expect from Moody? I know he was talented in Hs but know nothing about him. Will he give us a deep threat? seems like we need a big guy in the middle. I just don’t trust avants. I like him, but he seems so streaky. We could really use Bernstein this year. hopefully McCauley can get healthy and contribute. thoughts? Opinions?
  14. Heinert did he was getting closer, but didn’t say a date.
  15. Turned it off. Netflix with the wife. Way more entertaining at this point. Though anything would be more entertaining than watching that. Ugly game.
  16. Can’t wait for the summit and espn3. Pluto is complete trash.
  17. Heck no, talk about a team cancer. No doubt he might have a lot going on in life but sounds like he has a horrible attitude and takes zero responsibility. Would rather have a kid with a little less raw talent and a better attitude that plays with heart.
  18. ok, so enough of this Steckler/Schobert stuff .... what else can we expect from the recruiting scene going forward? Any rumors floating around? Guys we are targeting specifically? FBS dropdowns (what happened to the Gopher LBs; I know one committed elsewhere)? JUCO Transfers? When does this dead period pick up? Do we have any recruiting weekends left?
  19. That was my thought. I'm ok with recruiting TE, and it looks like we have been hitting on some solid talent at that position. Just seems like with how many TE we recruit we could afford 1 scholly QB per season. I still cannot understand why this doesn't happen, given what we saw when Keaton went down. I do like the moves with Zim and Ketteringham, but still should be bringing 1 in per season. You can't assume you are going to hit on every kid, or that they are even going to stick with the program. Should be adding much more depth at that position for the future.
  20. I feel like we have signed a bunch of TE over the past few years for a team that doesn’t really utilize the position in the pass game. Is this simply a band aid for the o line or do the coaches intend to pass a bit more?
