nope he didn't want the U, or nope the U wasn't lookin at him?
-
So long as he bounces back from injury. Which I hope he does. I would hate to see him become RG3 v2.0
-
Bradford will start (at least until his knee gives out) Case will start Teddy is the question mark (which is why the Vikings are resting all of their hopes on him). Does anyone really want to put all of our hopes on a guy who may not be able to start for the Jets? I hope he finds success, but I didn't completely trust him before his injury, I certainly don't trust him after ...not until he shows otherwise.
-
Like he was to start the season? Then an injury flares up and he can't play. The Vikings don't want to waste the talent they have up and down the roster on guys that have a HUGE injury risk a the most important position on the field. Good grief, that would be like the Timberwolves hedging their playoff hopes on someone like Derrick Rose .....
-
Not like he sprained an ankle. He completely blew up his knee. I don't think they wanted to hedge the potential of the franchise over the next several years on the recovery of an injury that doesn't have much precedent. If you're going to go with a one legged QB, at least Bradford has a better throw. Teddy has/had better mobility, though didn't use it all that much. Teddy had a decent season before he got injured, but its not like he was tearing up the conference.

Just need to get there!!! So amped up for this weekend. Hope they don't disappoint. -
Anything new on this? When is this decision made?
-
Agreed, no disrespect to Keenum, he had a great year, and was fun to watch. Guy helped take a team that was staring at more disappointment after injuries into a season to remember (though not as memorable as well all hoped). Seemed like a great guy and team player and hope he has a solid rest of his career. That being said, you can't argue with some of Cousin's numbers, and you're going to plug him into a much better team. He'll have the receivers, the TE, the RB, and hopefully the offensive line. I agree that for $8 million, and with the money the Vikings have to spend, this is a smart move. Very excited for to watch the Vikings next fall!

I assume his brother will have some advice for him regarding the benefits of staying vs going pro. I don't know what that advice will be, whether he would say Colton is ready for the the jump, or that staying for a third year would be highly beneficial, but I'm sure his experiences both at UND and thus far in the pros will play a big part in Colton's decision.
-
He would still be a free agent after next year correct? Maybe another dominant year could generate a larger/one way contract? Doubt he will look at it that way, and have no clue if that possibility on contract implication is possible, but it would definitely be nice to see the kid back.
-
Gwoz had to be my favorite opposing coach, especially looking back on it now. Great rivalry with a lot of great moments.
-
He was so much fun to watch. I remember watching talking up someone at the faceoff, got the kid to take a big hack at him before the puck even dropped, and drew a penalty. Kind of kid you absolutely hate, unless he is on your team.

This is almost to the point of being frustrating. In being anxious for the weekend, I want to read about UND and the tourney, but it is so clear cut what needs to be done that there just isn't a lot of room for speculation. It is simply a waiting game for Friday. The herald needs to come out with some more reading material. -
I was pretty optimistic as well. Not because we won (yes, happy about that), but HOW we won. Just like I was not just upset about our losses over the past two months, but the manner in which we were losing. This team is finding a way to play together and develop some chemistry. I want to see a big weekend out of Jones, consistent play from Poolman, Bowen continue to return to form, and Kawaguchi take a big step forward.... oh, and I wouldn't mind a top notch Cam Johnson either. Those would be my players to watch for the weekend.

Agreed, I would not even want to see UND get in if not for it being justified by the pairwise. It would take any integrity out of the process to show favoritism based on host school, potential revenue, or program history. I want to see UND get in by winning the NCHC tourney, but would gladly sneak in with an at large bid, so long as it is justified. I understand that we have a 25% chance with only one win in St Paul, but I think those percentages are also highly volatile, based on other results. If we win Friday night, and pending other results, that could drastically improve or decrease. Just as the percentages drastically changed with a single outcome last night in Mankato. -

This all reeks of the 13-14 season. Barely snuck into that tourney as well, and went on to the Frozen Four. This team has really shown the level of hockey they are capable of playing over the past two weekends. Hopefully its not too little too late. I expect a solid return to the X. -

This is both hilarious and sounds accurate!!!
-
Can’t say enough about this performance by the guys last night most consistent effort through all three period we have seen in a while. If this team can show consistency from night to night, we will be in business. Well done!

Well, “Norwegian” Olympians.
