I spoke out on the CSTV thing and I'll see what happens. It was about the most memorable moment. I spoke about UND's 2000 Frozen Four and how they beat Maine and then beat the Eagles. I was not to flattering towards ESPN or Hockey East. I even included the conference info (NC comparison). Doubt it will get published but it is up now.

Perhaps, but Air Force's major rival is CC since they share the same home town. I was going on the angle that, regardless of records, CC is better than DU. If I'm not mistaken, on CC had representatives from their team at the WJC.

Couldn't agree more. One thing I've noticed is that, though he isn't the dynamic goal scorer that Parise is, I think he works just as hard as Parise does whenever he steps onto the ice. He is very fast to the puck and not afraid to throw his weight around. Not the natural power forward like Stafford is, but very solid. Hockey Future gave him an overall rating of 2. I am thinking that will rise if he continues to work this hard. As it stands right now, Porter is in my top 4 fave freshmen behind Murrayand Stafford. Smaby is the fourth.

I agree. If any coach in the WCHA is going to move to the NHL, it will be Lucia first. 400 wins. WOW Blais only has 250, but a very diverse portfolio as well. However, Lucia is attractive to NHL teams because he is young and successful.

That happens like wildfire in Fargo-Moorhead and that's not just hockey. I've seen in at Trollwood Performing Arts, Fargo Symphony, Library, schools, everywhere.

When I came to UND in 1995, I hated hockey. I thought hockey was a sport where guys on skates come out and beat each other with sticks. I proceeded to skip EVERY game until the very end of the season where we had some sort of tourney... did we have the final five in GF in 1996? Anyways, we lost 3-2. I don't remember who was playing us, but they scored first and scored last. I believe it was Kavalavog (sp?) in net for us though I can't remember. Yeah, we lost. But I started thinking, it was fun. Unfortunately it was the last live Sioux game I'd see until 1998 (although I did watch the TV broadcasts whenever I could). I moved to Thief River Falls for 2 years to get my A&P. Anyways, 1998 came around and I just loved it! Joined the band, but I found that I was not very good at that so I quit and then I started really enjoying Sioux hockey.

It could have been worse. Some parents out east got into a similar arguement about their 12 or 13 year olds on the ice over a check. One parent ended up dead. I don't know what we can do about this kind of thing. It's not the kids' faults that their parents are morons.

Jeepers folks! You should all be embarrased by this, but what about Park from the Minnesota Wild? Right under our noses.

There is also Georges Laraque. If you want to talk minor league professionals houw about Houle? He's a goaltender I think in the Stars organization (but I am not sure) who is the canadian indian decent. Manute Boll played hockey for a day so that meant that, for one day, there was an African hockey player!

I remember the signs. When I was a freshman in 1995-96 school year here at UND, they posted signs all over saying that your flesh would freeze in 5 seconds or so and to remind us to bundle up. All I can remember was being incredibly pissed off at the administration of the school for patronizing us like that. They only have to walk, at most, a block to their cozy little offices and not worry about the outside at all while we had to walk quarter-half a block just to catch the bus and then, depending upon where your class was, much more than a mere block to get to class.

When his kids get mugged, hacked, clutched, and grabbed, maybe he'll gain some perspective I like the DU'H sign, but Remember, they won't allow anything with DUmbass on it And the officials sign, though wonderful, I'd surmise won't make it past security either.

I never understood wrestling. Two guys in tight bodysuits groping each other and trying to throw each other around all the while wearing these ridiculous looking ear muffs with chin straps. Yuck. Even fake wrestling is disgusting.... except for the female wrestlers
