Fair enough. With football recruiting coming up we will now know to count "recruited heavily" the same as an offer. BisonDan, got that? He is the one who worries most about who got offers and from whom.

They each had one offer - from Cal-Poly. If you think your team is getting better, thats fine, but the three straight first round exits don't indicate that. As a UND fan I am all for that kind of "improvement".

You need to do more research. I take nothing away from 3 wins on the road, which is tough to do. But, Duquesne is picked dead last in their conference and James Madison is very bad. YSU is a pretty good team and was a nice win. I was speaking off recent history of their basketball team. They have not gotten any better since making the tourney, in fact, they have gotten worse. We will see how their recruiting has gone in a few years but the tallest guy he has recruited in the past two years is 6'5" and he seems to be settling for local players with no other offers. Like I said, we will see how they turn out in a few years.

Not quite sure that NDSU is improving in basketball. As near as I can tell they have gotten worse and are now staying at that level.

The FU fans are awfully quiet about "conference footprints" now.

4500 people at their first home playoff game in how long? At least they finally realize how playoff tickets work. It will be interested to see how many tix become available for the NDSU/SDSU game after season ticket holders don't buy their's.

There are D2 teams that pay their coordinators the same as UND does. It is really sad.

Beside the horrible PI call, they held TWICE on the that screen for TD. These Big Sky refs are bad.

The previous year he was 6-5. His first two years in MVFC were avg to bad.

It was the first home games of the year, relax. I liked Hammer and his excitement he brought, especially in the overtime session. Give him some time to get used to the players and the way they play, etc.

Mr. NDSU comes in and says its cause all the football-loving students went there. Sheer genius! I cannot believe UND's enrollment has gone up every year with that going on.

Colorado State doesn't have an offense. Have you watched them?

Colorado State is total crap, they are bad. We need Gene Taylor to help us with our FBS scheduling. The guy is a master of picking doormat programs with first year coaching staffs (not that he would know that but it's uncanny how many times its happened). I think they have played 6 FBS games against first year staffs. Idaho was our chance to beat a doormat and we blew it.

They maybe had 150 students at the Illinois State game. That is more fuzzy math by athletic departments that don't count actual tickets taken, like UND does. From what I saw on the Midco broadcast of that Iliinois State game, there were not 9k people there. And NDSU does not get 4000-5000 at EVERY single road game. Maybe USD and SDSU but they do not get 5000 people in Carbondale, or Macomb, or Normal, or Terre Haute or Springfield or Youngstown. Sorry Lakes.

Update: San Diego State beat previous MWC leader Nevada (6-2) in Reno last night to move to 5-3 on the year. They are looking like a pretty solid team.
