Beside the horrible PI call, they held TWICE on the that screen for TD. These Big Sky refs are bad.

The previous year he was 6-5. His first two years in MVFC were avg to bad.

It was the first home games of the year, relax. I liked Hammer and his excitement he brought, especially in the overtime session. Give him some time to get used to the players and the way they play, etc.

Mr. NDSU comes in and says its cause all the football-loving students went there. Sheer genius! I cannot believe UND's enrollment has gone up every year with that going on.

Colorado State is total crap, they are bad. We need Gene Taylor to help us with our FBS scheduling. The guy is a master of picking doormat programs with first year coaching staffs (not that he would know that but it's uncanny how many times its happened). I think they have played 6 FBS games against first year staffs. Idaho was our chance to beat a doormat and we blew it.

They maybe had 150 students at the Illinois State game. That is more fuzzy math by athletic departments that don't count actual tickets taken, like UND does. From what I saw on the Midco broadcast of that Iliinois State game, there were not 9k people there. And NDSU does not get 4000-5000 at EVERY single road game. Maybe USD and SDSU but they do not get 5000 people in Carbondale, or Macomb, or Normal, or Terre Haute or Springfield or Youngstown. Sorry Lakes.

Update: San Diego State beat previous MWC leader Nevada (6-2) in Reno last night to move to 5-3 on the year. They are looking like a pretty solid team.

Northern Iowa still gets 50 pts. All those moral victories are really impressing some voters.

To be fair, it was by far the best FCS team they have ever played. Plus, the games mean something now. The worst loss was Sioux Falls.

The reason why the discussion was still raging all week on the radio was because NDSU did nothing to the players, other than Ojuri (who should not even be on the team anymore but somehow still is). What did NDSU do to address the breach of student conduct or whatever its called? The school itself has done nothing and that is what is pissing people off.

UND is not holding EWU to 24. No way in hell. I would say your score prediction is about right, should be a shootout.

How are we counting attendance? Because there was way more people at his game than he Portland State game. Like at least a 1000. The last two sections on each end had way more people than vs. Portland. Yet they said the attendance was nearly the same, just a few hundred more. However, the student section was less than vs Portland. Yesterday they only filled the bottom two sections and about half of a top section. (We shouldn't feel that bad about getting roughly 1000-1500 students, I tuned into the USD game and there was maybe 200 there). Did anyone else think there was more there yesterday?

Oh boy.....I will leave that one alone.

Coaching.

Did you also notice how bad Iowa and Wisconsin are this year? Not saying they are terrible but they are WAY DOWN from where they have been in previous years. A woeful Central Michigan team just beat Iowa in Iowa City. Since you base your opinion on watching games, I thought you would factor that in.

I wouldn't say a 7-4 team "sucked" but thats up for debate.
