UND1983

Defense is not exclusive to a league or leagues. The offense's in those leagues have something to do with it. We just saw the second best team in the MVFC go out to EWU and get 51 hung on them. Last year UNI was the second best team from the "defensive" MVFC and they got 50 hung on them by Montana. When half of the offense's in your league are inept, your defense is going to look good.

Enthusiasm. Oh, and now that the game is over and UND lost I wanted to add this: UND is garbage this year, both teams are not going to do anything and the game was awful. The win proves nothing for NDSU since UND is so bad. Atmosphere was terrible.

59-54...and NDSU lost in the first round of the Summit League tournament. They were really good. Just once could you compliment a UND team, any team. Just once when they win I want you to say how good they looked and not focus on how bad the other team is. Since you are a "neutral" fan of both teams and everything.

There it is. When they lose to UND, both teams were garbage. When they win, they have a hell of a team and UND looked pretty good too.

It appears they cannot shoot free throws at home. On the road they are fine. This is getting so old, when are they ever going to turn the corner?

UND loses 73-70. Absolutely unacceptable, I thought these guys were past this crap but they appear to be the same old team as before.

Down 1 with 6 secs left...TO. Need to foul and then REBOUND if they miss.

How does your point guard go 0-6 from the free throw line. Pathetic. Especially when two of them were to tie it with 26 secs left. 70-67 and AA at line for two Anderson makes 1 of 2. Down two with 16 secs left

While your at it go look at the schedules of the teams before you say NDSU has looked better this year. UND hasn't played a home game yet that counts.

Another Pro-NDSU response from Mr. Neutral that is wrong. How did NDSU "certainly" have a better season than UND last year, please explain?

You stop at nothing to stick up for the Summit and MVFC. You know more about those conferences than any "UND" fan on here. Oh wait, you are neutral and like both teams. Lighten up a little and have some fun with it.

UND outplayed them for 35 of 40 minutes and actually looked like a team tonight. The win would have been great but I was more impressed with the play at both ends for UND tonight. Not impressed with SDSU at all. Is that the best team in the Summit?

Not impressed with SDSU at all. I am impressed with UND's shot selection tonight. Taking all good, open mid-range shots and are knocking them down.

Fair enough. With football recruiting coming up we will now know to count "recruited heavily" the same as an offer. BisonDan, got that? He is the one who worries most about who got offers and from whom.

They each had one offer - from Cal-Poly. If you think your team is getting better, thats fine, but the three straight first round exits don't indicate that. As a UND fan I am all for that kind of "improvement".

You need to do more research. I take nothing away from 3 wins on the road, which is tough to do. But, Duquesne is picked dead last in their conference and James Madison is very bad. YSU is a pretty good team and was a nice win. I was speaking off recent history of their basketball team. They have not gotten any better since making the tourney, in fact, they have gotten worse. We will see how their recruiting has gone in a few years but the tallest guy he has recruited in the past two years is 6'5" and he seems to be settling for local players with no other offers. Like I said, we will see how they turn out in a few years.

Not quite sure that NDSU is improving in basketball. As near as I can tell they have gotten worse and are now staying at that level.

The FU fans are awfully quiet about "conference footprints" now.
