People figured out that you had to buy tickets separately for those games. No more season tickets. We tried to explain that to NDSU fans who ripped UND for those low numbers but hadn't had a home playoff game in 20 years themselves - but they didn't get it. Until the RMU game.

What stinks is FCS has an HD channel on Directv, 623 HD. There are two 623 channels and they uplinked to the SD channel for some reason. The other one was not being used, IIRC.

LOL! He was 11-21 and basically let UND in the game himself by missing damn near every throw in the 4th quarter. He was 2-9 in the second half against a defense that is not good. Yet you come on here and tell us he is an NFL QB? He overthrew two passes and skipped one other one in the 4th quarter alone. Those were not drops. And yes, I do know something about playing collegiate football. It doesn't take Ron Jaworski to see that Sumner wasn't very good on Saturday.

Cool bro. Wasn't talking about the rest of their team at all. Post was about Sumner and how their fan told us how great he is. I read Oxbows post wrong and deleted my previous post, thought he was talking about how great SDSU's D was.

Sumner is the definition of an average quarterback. He was awful in the second half, skipping throws, sailing over receivers heards. 2 for 9. Don't want to hear about him being a good QB ever again.

Question: Why is the game not in HD on Fox College Sports but it is on Midco? Do they need to pay more to uplink(?) it via HD or something?

As they should be. You think CableOne is really easy to work with? If I was Midco I would play hardball with them too, Midco is the one that ponied up all the money to broadcast the games. They sure as hell are not going to give it to their biggest competitor in the state's largest metro area.

I remember if fondly. The Fargo media machine stopped just short of saying Bryce Drew was coming with and may be playing QB. In all honesty it was one hell of a sell job - the fans really thought that was what D1 football was about that night.
