I know for a fact that a decent amount of teachers from all over the world take online classes through UND to get their Masters. I am sure they make up a portion of the older group that only takes online classes and lives off campus.

I would love to hear Tony's response to this because he is all about enrollment, actual bodies on campus, and lying about the numbers. He actually gets very psychotic when talking about it.

Like I said, you can do whatever you want. The University and the fans that care about all sports can move on and put their energy towards the actual school/sports instead of discussing this crap and forming committees about the name.

Not a hockey guy. Couldn't care less about their failures on the big stage (though it is intriguing). I want a new name so we can stop talking about this stupid sh*t and let the past be just that. People won't move on without a new name to rally around. The hockey-only name lovers can do whatever they want. Meh.

Seems to be a bit of truth on both sides here. If 279 of 280 people you hired are quitting, there is something wrong with your company. Period. On the other hand, like Edway said above, the people that he is hiring for these positions are probably not used to working hard on a production line.

Remember Whiskey Joe's mad push to grow the enrollment and capitalize on the move to D1? Seems like that strategy was connected pretty closely to this.

I now see that the UND faculty is not happy with the Library situation. One member went as far as to say the campus has never been this disheartened or angry. WTF is going on at UND right now?

Remain without a nickname so they can keep saying "Sioux" and not seem like an idiot trying to hold onto something that is no longer. "There isn't a new nickname so I why wouldn't I keep using the old one?" Do I have that correct?

The old nickname is gone. We are getting a new nickname. That much is 100% certain. (drops the mic and swaggers off the stage)

No doubt he is a hell of a coach, anyone saying otherwise is an idiot. That said, in this case, he is looking like a real dickhead. There is no reason whatsoever to take away this kid's entire season. Foreign exchange student wanting to be close to his buddies, a walk-on, UND being an FCS program. So many reasons to let him play. Hell, just tell Bubba to not play him Week 1 and call it good. Bubba is as honest as it gets, Nevermann wouldn't be on the plane to Wyoming.

He would never have been accepted to UM under any conditions. He couldn't even get accepted at NDSU, had to 'greyshirt' I believe.

I see the Student Government and Bob are coming to an agreement and signing a "Memorandum of Understanding". Whatever the F that means. Here is the best part: They are forming ANOTHER Task Force to help with tuition model!! #taskforceU

Another point against S&D is that the pool is getting pretty antiquated, isn't it? Have they ever remodeled it because from what I remember it is pretty old.

When they dropped wrestling it was Moe freaking out and various other wrestling fans kind of complaining. That's it. Nobody will care about S&D. Maybe ex-swimmers and that is it.
