Some, yes. We will see once it gets closer. Asking price and actual selling price are two different things. My point is the NDSU fans saw what UND fans were getting at the Regional and now are going to put them on Craigslist and Stubhub for that much, or more. Whether they get that remains to be seen.
-
How many more fans do you think there are in Fargo clamoring for tickets on a weekly basis? There are empty seats all over at the lower-end games. Sold but not sat in.
-
I would hope they go for more than $60. The problem is there are 18,500 tickets for sale and that pretty much maxes out their fan base. They would be counting on UND fans to drive up the price. At this point I don't see that many fans passionate enough to want to spend $250 to go. Will there be some, yes. But nothing near what people are thinking.
-
Funny how NDSU fans now think their tickets for the UND game are going to be worth SOOO much after seeing the West Regional tickets go for $400+. Bad comparison.
-
That is perfectly fine for now, more power to them. Charging that much for season tickets and making fans pony up $100 minimum for the right is not sustainable. It's all tied to results on the field. At least it showed how much more important UND is than the rest of your schedule. That part is nice. You are only ripping off your own fans, so whatever dude. 17,500 of the ticket buyers are going to be NDSU's and the price was fixed into season tickets already.

The money won't make it that far. It will only offset the amount athletics will take from the dining surplus next year.
-
You had em ready to go but the players just didn't execute.
-
Well, that's a pretty big one when you coach UND Hockey. Just like when a person coaches North Carolina, Indiana, or Kentucky basketball. Better win one every so often or you are gone. That is, unless UND isn't considered one of the top hockey programs.
-
There we have it. Finally....the answer everyone has been looking for!
-
How long have they actually had a "Frozen Four" or Final Four type of tournament?
-
Their coaching history says otherwise and that you are completely 100% wrong. Once they get to the big game they get sprinkles on their dessert.
-
Horrible analogies. You realize they all won the big one, right?
-
That is because nobody really knows hockey coaching names, other than the new ones that keep winning NC's.
-
Why are they "haters"? The facts are what they are, for both sides of the argument. The guy can't win a big game, period. But he can win a ton of regular season games and first round NCAA games. It's a weird situation to figure out.
-
If he and his blue-chip teammates are not better than Union's or Providence's players when it counts why do we keep saying that UND recruits so well? What is the problem if we are getting so many high end, blue-chip kids year after year after year?
-
Clarkson = North Dakota Bowling Green = North Dakota Boston College = North Dakota Got it.
-
Get to Frozen Four. Then hope to get lucky and hang #8.
-
Lot of passion in this thread. Both sides. Lotsa good info as well.
-
The fans (that blindly support Hak). Not all fans. Read again.
-
I think more of the angst is directed at the passiveness of the fans and wanting more people to be alarmed by the failures. Hak is just the one who is the subject.
-
Not me. I want another frozie.
-
You got me confused with somebody else, never said a word about recruiting. But I know that Terry did fire him because the program wasn't winning.
-
Regular season wins vs. Post season failures. Gino and Blais both won a ton of regular season games, too. Gino - 392-248-24 (61%) - and that with his last 3 seasons being terrible. Blais - 262-115-33 (73%) I would say they won some regular season games. No?
-
Sprinkles just add so much. Great invention.

Please explain. And make sure to throw in the national championship part of the equation when doing it.
