Yeah. Been awhile since Joe Toth was beating up teenagers at house parties in north Fargo.

I remember that as well. I think it was Bobyck who knocked out a football player out front of the SAE house and he banged his head on the sidewalk when he fell and had some pretty serious injuries. We had an all campus party at ATO one night and a few from the Football team were acting like jackasses throwing beer all over and me and a couple guys were having a discussion with a couple players that we were friends with and telling them they should probably leave when another player joined the discussion and then out of no where he head butts my buddy. I grabbed him and ran him 7 or 8 steps backward into the bar and next thing I know my head is ringing as the guy with the nickname "psycho" suckered me from the side right in the ear. Good times, lesson learned, never get into a fight in the middle of a dark basement when you don't know who is who with music blaring and probably 150 people over firecode. Saw that guy later sued the University and the NCAA due to concussions.

Haven't heard many of these stories over the years thankfully. When I was in school in the mid and late 80's they were more frequent. At one point the Hockey team and Football team were both banned from going out by their coaching staffs. I remember a pretty good brawl at The Bridge one night. The Hockey team put a pretty good beating on the football squad. We had a couple skirmishes at our house with a few football players who couldn't behave themselves at our All Campus parties.

correct. they graded out very low. They actually brought in an NCHC crew which is not normal since WMU is playing....but both crews in Fargo yesterday were terrible.

I don't think you will find a player who played at UND the last 19 years who wouldn't have great things to say about Dane Jackson and all the time he was willing to put in one on one with any player who wanted to work on his game and skills....anytime of day.

I was there for that. Teams should schedule Air Force just so you get Frank to speak at the Booster Lunch on Fridays! His kid's were also there that day and he was talking about his days on the UND staff and said to his kids(and everyone in attendance) something to the effect of "you kids weren't born yet, that was when your mom and I were still just practicing having kids"

I don't think they teach that in "journalism" school anymore.

Have heard that as well from a very good source. Must be considered an emergency as they are bringing in NCHC crew despite WMU being in the game. One of the officials in Gopher game was ECAC and the other official might have been ECAC but he was on Hockey East roster in 23-24. The Mankato/WMU game was Hockey East officials so they would not be working the Mass/WMU game so it might be that they considered the officiating in the late game especially bad....although I think the crew in the first game was much worse overall.

If Moore had hustled back and not coasted into the play he would have easily broke up the play when the puck carrier crossed over to his right.

I actually thought Dane was going to get the job when Hak left. I was under the impression that he did not want the head coaching job at that time.
