I know West Fargo did some recruiting. Bismarck had open enrollment to some degree but pretty tough to say anything when the other public school(Century) was also dominant compared to the rest of the state.

Interesting. I asked a friend who works at Parks and Rec in Bismarck about it and he said they don't have the numbers in the girls program to feed more teams? He said most of the girls in their 19u program are young so I took that to mean that they don't really have any sophomores, juniors, or seniors playing?

Do they have the numbers to support more? Are they cutting girls? I honestly don't know.....was just having this discussion with my brother.

Correct. This seems to get brought up all the time and people point to William and Mary. The difference is they kept their name and removed Native American Imagery. A bird has feathers a Tribe does not.....especially when the definition of Tribe used by William and Mary is not to define a Native American group.

Hockey will be in Fargo next year and then in Grand Forks the following year.....after that it is currently up in the air. The NDHSAA is looking at permanent homes for several events if it makes sense money wise. For example, Football and Wrestling will be in Fargo through 2022-23.

I am torn. I have to root for the West teams as usual in Bismarck(alum) and Century, don't care about Minot and Dickinson but this year I have a cousin playing for Davies so I am pulling for whoever wins the Davies/Bismarck game to win it. I know, extreme longshot with Davies and slight upset for the Demons to bring it home.

His nickname of Bug is well earned. Loved him on the Force....now not so much.

I am guessing since he left Collins on the floor that he was concerned about getting the rebound and if this was the case he probably should have told them to use the timeout if their shooter missed. I would prefer to grab the rebound and go like we did so they can't set up a defense but we should have had Brick, Geno, Q, Mac, and Baldwin on the floor. We were also lucky that they missed free throws as I didn't like us looking for a 3 with 27 seconds left and down 3....extend the game go to the rack as most times you get an uncontested layup as they don't want to foul.
