  1. To each, their own. I just think playing games like that is classless. He's evidently got a history of it, too. Then saying "no comment" when asked about Anas practicing on Thursday? It's dumb. Also, playing those games put his best player in the crosshairs. He told everyone Anas was essentially a wounded duck. Not gonna argue about it, I just saw it as classless coming into a tourney game. There's not an issue, but I brought it to light because I thought it was a bush league move... Plus... I didn't have much for thorns for my column
  2. Everything I've heard is Zane and Jordan are all but gone. LaDue is the next biggest risk and it's 50/50. Drake and Stecher are not likely, but there's a small chance. Tucker is intriguing, to me. Honestly, I'm not sure I see a more NHL ready player on this team. Has so much to his game.
  3. Exactly.
  4. Doesn't mean he has to be a d*ck.
  5. I love it. I love, I love it, I love it.
  6. Wasn't sure where to put this... but, here ya go. Roses and Thorns from last week... Plus, a shot at Rand Pecknold http://daddydumpandchase.blogspot.com/2015/03/rose-and-thorns-shippin.html
  7. Roses and Thorns from last weekend... With a shot at Rand Pecknold http://daddydumpandchase.blogspot.com/2015/03/rose-and-thorns-shippin.html
  8. Ahhh got it lol. Cheers Fetch, but yes... not happenin.
  9. Where is this talk coming from? Is this merely speculation?
  10. Good thing none of us are players then, eh? We all know this. I find it hard to believe any of us are overlooking BU. And the players DEFINITELY aren't. We've got a huge task to take care of next Thursday. That being said, we're still 10 days away and it's beyond intriguing. We need something to fill our time
  11. Shawn-O was pretty clearly saying that IF we do lose to Blais, THEN this place will be in full meltdown and I agree. Makes me queasy to think about
  12. Still woulda won by a goal in each game without those bounces
  13. Sure they don't have all the control, but to ignore the value and importance of a head coach in these types of situations is dumb. I remember playing games and my head coaches making immediate and tangible changes that lead to victories and defeats. Many, many, many times.
  14. My bad. Misread. I thought you were trying to get people to not talk about this. Not sure why you had to be a tough guy. Slap nuts? What are you, 12? lol
  15. Sure won't. And your point? Would not talking about it affect it? No. Relax. It's an interesting conversation.
  16. Yup. And yup. lol
  17. Good lord. None. Zero. Zlich. Zip. Bye bye thread.
  18. Yes. We get it. But are you honestly not thinking about this potential?
  19. What spin? Only way to spin a direct quote is with implication. Red made his point very clear. Him having a lot of experience doesn't give him the right to be a jerk.
  20. A faceoff win goes to the team who posses the puck directly after the draw
  21. Ugh. Is anyone else queasy about the potential of having to beat Dean Blais for a national title? :S ... No chance I'm looking last anyone, but I just got a cold shiver up my spine.
  22. It's kind of like that scene in the movie Waiting. Red just says whatever he wants because he's old and senile at this point. He probably gives small children the middle finger, too
  23. Jees, Red. What is that saying to recruits? "If you don't listen to me, you won't make it in the NHL." Knucklehead comments. I don't necessarily disagree with Red, but that was a pretty classless effort by him. Grow up.
  24. We dominated in the dot last night. Why is this a thread?
