Obviously I wouldn't support the decision or agree with it. But what can you do? Its out of our control now. I would really hope we as Sioux fans would have the respect for the tribes still. Just because we may lose a nickname we're so proud of and do respect, wouldn't give us any right to rip apart the tribes. Great point you bring up, I really hope we don't see racial comments no matter what happens. Its really a shame we even have to discuss losing the nickname, I still can't believe we may lose the Sioux nickname.

Why did he wait so long to sign and announce it? It just annoys me. There was all this speculation from Kitchner, why didn't he just announce it. I'm just fine without having this guy.

I was saying for those who have basic cable. I just think it was so stupid for the NHL after the lockout to switch to the Outdoor Network. To bring back interest to the league, you shouldn't alienate your fans that don't have versus.

It bothers me when coaches are critical of players leaving early. Especially publicly. Its just derespectful. You should support your players that you've helped develop to go out and improve their game. When a player like Forbort has the potential of d-1 hockey and possibly NHL, the coach shouldnt try and hold him back. I know Matt Malm at RRHS wasnt openly critical of Poltuny and Irmen leaving to Lincoln early. He recognized their potential and future. He knew that RRHS wasnt going to prepare them enough for what they had in the future. They left we two years left to play, Duluth East coach needs to stop being so selfish and relieze there's more to a players career than HS. Great move to go to the US development team. Better than just playing HS hockey.

Good to hear that Adam Murray was sucking it up. I hope he does the same in Denver! Also Jerry York has a couple of recruits on the team, but also Morin has suggested UND, BU, and BC as his choices for a college. Was he there trying to sway Morin??! Probably.

I sure hope your asumption is right! Agree with BU being much weaker next year. I'm sure Nashville cant wait to sign him... Next year we'll definately be in the top 3 for sure. I'm excited to see how Blood, Macwilliams, and Fienhage (spelling) adjust to frequent playing time at the college level.

Agreed... No way Mattson is a one year player. But possibly a two year player, most likely we'll see three years from him. I'm excited to watch him play, probably even more than Kristo, but a year in Omaha would definately help.

From my understanding, Clarke verbally committed to UND and then got drafted. Then decided to go to the OHL. Same type of thing with Cam Folwer. How's Morin playing the NCAA? He's already ready to go to the OHL and the rangers have basically opened up their roster for him. I think he's seriously debating on which route to go. As we've seen the sioux are still actively recruiting and setting up our roster for next year. Either way, I think the Sioux aren't getting played. If he had committed to us and there was all this OHL talk, thats another subject. In that case, we'd be turning away players or postponing their arrivals because of his committed. But this is different, if he signed with us, all it does it pushes Knight and/or Danny Mattson to juniors for a (another) year. I'd like to see him with the Sioux, but I agree with basically every post on here in that hes a 1 or 2 yr player (at the most). He's not worried about being part of a team, hes more focused on himself and his leverage with his future draft position.

That is such a blow to UMD. Thats too bad, they have a good recruiting class coming in too

Today I was watching Blackhawks highlights and Toews scored, the announcer said "Toewser" or tazer. Its not a verb yet, but definately could be! Crosby passes to Malkin, shot, goal!!! What a toewser!
