Schloss had been asked about it in one of those Herald weekly chats and he said he would post it on his blog after the season so I'm sure someone will ask him to post it again and he will do so when they have the weekly chat on Wednesday.

I was there for a year and had an injury during camp and redshirted the year I was there but I believe the team won one game that year. I transferred after that season because the attitude and atmosphere around the program was just something that I couldn't deal with. I had always played on successful teams in high school and I couldn't take the consistent losing and how many of the older guys on the team had just accepted it and even made jokes about it. I believe they have a new coach and have started to win a few games although part of that is probably because they have started to play some teams more on their same level outside the conference.

My guess would be no St.Cloud at the Ralph as I believe them and Duluth are paired together.

Yeah I don't think they really give full scholarships out for any of their sports and they usually give most players partials. I know what they gave me when I was a freshman for football was like $500 for academics and then like a $1500 athletics. Yeah he isn't really their because of the scholarship but because it is a good program and within a few hours of home and one of the more affordable schools as well.

Nope NAIA schools can give athletic scholarships I think it is just the NCAA D3 level that doesn't allow it.

Don't think Eades is a great fit at CC but why would he take an assistant job there when he should be a head coach candidate for that kind of job? I think a current CC assistant may be the front runner for the head job right now.

That is incorrect Mayville does give athletic scholarships. I got a football scholarship out of high school from them and my brother has a baseball scholarship there now. They may not give full athletic scholarships but they do give athletic scholarships.

Technically 0 scholarships but their whole tuition is pretty much covered through other ways its not these players are on the hook for a lot of tuition. People make way too big of deal of them having no scholarships like it actually effects them when really there isn't a whole lot of difference between what they do and every other school does they just may not call it an athletic scholarship.

It seemed like a completely different team compared to the one that played the Sioux Thursday. Stupid penalties, bad turnovers, playing soft, no interest in playing defense at all, and Wilcox might have played one of his worst games of the season. It probably hurts Gopher fans even worse knowing they didn't play the way they can but the only one they can really blame that on is their players and coaches.

That's what we were talking about it is just annoying to hear those announcers try to use that when a team like Union wins. Yeah they are a great story but don't act like those players have to pay their full tuition just to go there and don't get some kind of money to play there.

At least Gopher fans will be able to use the old stand by line they have always used against the Sioux when they lose about the older players that Union had.

Dave just took it from a list that somebody had posted for all NCHC recruits and nobody knows if it is actually correct but I'm pretty sure it was just a mistake. He didn't commit until the middle of the season so I really doubt he was already accelerating his schooling then and it would be pretty hard to make up a year of schooling in a few months. Even if Schmaltz was leaving I think Mantha would be the one to probably take that spot.

I still don't think a team should have to wait for the other team to get done celebrating to shake hands just have the loser go to the lockerroom in this kind of situation.

Shows the lack of consistency from game to game with the same crew. If they wouldn't have said it earlier I wouldn't have guessed this is the same crew that did our game Thursday.
