  1. Thanks for fixing! I'm not up on my Chinese.
  2. I'm getting a lot of Chinese on the site instead of the King's English. How do I get out of it? Thanks.
  3. With the outside shot that he developed this season, I think there's a chance that he could play the 4, but he'd also need to develop a 15-20 ft. jumper. However, I think his best spot is the 5, especially if he puts on a few more pounds and continues to develop. Turned into a great asset this season.
  4. Saw Walters play at the NAIA tonight. He had a nice game. Scored 26 or so, but I'm not sure that he's the back-to-the basket 5 that we're looking for. Good shooting touch, but I don't think he has enough beef to be the force that we need on the inside to compete with the other bigs in the Summit. JMO
  5. And it should be done quickly to remove any uncertainty hanging over both current players and potential recruits.
  6. Anyone attending spring practices and willing/able to post a report?
  7. As you say, if he works hard during the offseason, he can definitely develop his shot. T is a good example of what can be done in the offseason if a player has the heart to work at it.
  8. I've been following Rebraca fairly closely at Iowa and, as far as I can tell, he's started every game, usually leads the team in rebounding, and there's been at least a time or two where he's lead the team in scoring. I'm guessing that he would have meant another 4-5 wins to our squad each of the last two seasons. Just wishful thinking, water under the bridge, yada, yada, yada, but sometimes it's fun to speculate.
  9. The way they developed this year, would love to see T and Matt return. Brady has also really developed this year and is such a great teammate and role model for the younger players, I'd like to see him return, also.
  10. Agree on Treysen. I think Omot is arguably either a 3 or a 4, especially if he adds some muscle and weight.
  11. At one point, I believe that we had at least a 13 pt. lead in the second half.
  12. Wish we could; she's a major asset. As are Orth and Manson. I think Manson could have played one more, but apparently opted out, as I think she said she's going to dental school.
  13. Been fun to watch Trent develop. It's been one of the keys to the progress of the team. Fun to watch him play; he's getting good at getting to the rim and, when he does, it's money.
  14. If the women have a decent next three weeks, they should be in line for a postseason tourney.
  15. No question who Starman's in love with.
  16. Am I right that Norman, Trent, and Tsartsidze all have one year left plus their covid year?
  17. Fire Sather! The problem with getting on the "fire the coach" bandwagon early in the season is that, especially with a young team like we've got, the coach has to be given the better part of a season to develop the younger players and to develop the team into the way that he wants them to play and to develop them into a "team." I don't know how they'll do from here on out, but right now they may be playing as well as anyone in the conference. Now watch them go out and lay an egg on Saturday. Seriously, they have an opportunity Saturday to continue developing confidence and momentum heading toward the conference tournament.
