  1. Going with tradition: I like the green jersey with white pants.
  2. Not as familiar with the players and, hence, the schools of the players that sign early, so it would be a blessing if those posting early signees could also include their schools. I know that many do that already. Thanks.
  3. Good insights and great post. Thanks, Teeder.
  4. I think it had something to do with the fact that he spent half his time either on his backside or running for his life, ala his two years at Sac St.
  5. How do you really feel about them? Seriously, no wonder they're rated lower than virtually all of the hotels across the street. We've stayed in most of the hotels across the street or not too far up the street and the best of them has been the Staybridge Suites and the Hampton Inn; very pleased with both, with the Sleep Inn not far behind. The only one that was a cut below was the Baymont; we wouldn't stay there again.
  6. Thanks for a great post! I almost got goose bumps reading it! I'm with you looking forward to 2019 Fighting Hawks football! Hope your son has a great season!
  7. Hopefully, Kacie's coming to UND will have some pull after Katie graduates. The only time that I saw Manson play was the DL game at the state tournament and she seemed to shoot the ball pretty well.
  8. The three finalists for Miss Basketball in North Dakota and one of the all-time leading scorers in Minnesota; for some reason, I'd forgotten about the two bigs. Looks great on paper. We'll need at least 3-4 of them to be ready to step in next season. Looks like this class will bring some much-needed outside shooting to the table.
  9. I believe Flowers graduated a year ago, if I'm not mistaken.
  10. Got it. Wasn't sure where you were actually picking them, I was just observing that, just based on what they're losing, it would be hard to see them finishing higher than 4th next season. Just for starters, I'm thinking Omaha, NDSU, and possibly UND could finish above them next season. Not sure what some of the other teams have returning. Looking forward to your outlook for next season.
  11. Impressed to see that the ladies put up 80 when Lexi only had 13. Also, say what you want, but in the handful of games that I've seen this season, the ladies have always played hard and never quit, regardless of the circumstances; testimony to good senior leadership, if not good coaching.
  12. Not sure, but it sure seems that he didn't have the Jacks mentally prepared for Western. It goes without saying that you can't overlook anyone at tournament time, even an eighth seed.
  13. SDSU was beatable this year with one of the Summit's all-time best players in the lineup. Losing him plus two other starters next season, it's hard to see them in the top 3, unless they have some studs coming in.
  14. Thank you so much for the preview and updates! Much appreciated.
  15. You're right, we could have played SDSU had Omaha won out.
  16. We couldn't play SDSU in the first round even if we're the 7th seed, unless SDSU loses to Western Illinois in their last game (at Brookings). And even then, Omaha would have to have the tiebreaker with SDSU.
  17. Looks like there's a two-week break between March 6 and March 20. Spring Break, I assume?
  18. All I know about her character is what I heard on the podcast, so, yes, I think she is a class act; didn't sound bitter, didn't cast blame on anyone, etc. I assume that the negative comments that you made about her character are based on more than speculation. Either way, there's no reason to smear her on a public sports forum.
  19. She sounds like a class act. Anyone know why she was "dismissed?" She would probably never play for UND but, as my wife always says, it never hurts to ask.
  20. They actually lose their top scorer and 4 of their top 6 scorers.
