There have actually been 9 incidents of college shootings since the rampage by Charles Whitman at the University of Texas in 1966 that took the lives of 16 people. 7 of those have happened since 1991, 4 since 2000. None of the recent shootings have come close to matching the senseless loss of life at VT yesterday.

I heard a rumor that the Triouxper got an offer from Buffalo Wild Wings to be a corporate spokesman ala Jared of Subway and will not be back next year.

Lee would be a HUGE loss if he decides to leave early. Those on this message board that have consistently ripped Lee know little to nothing about hockey. The kid played very well for a sophmore in the toughest conference in the country. Hak consistently used him on the PP and the penalty kill. If he comes back I predict he will become a real offensive threat from the point. I hope he returns next year but will wish him well if he decides to start his pro career.

Did BC's 4th goals occur with Porter still in the box or had he just got out? If memory serves there were only about 2 seconds left on Porter's penalty at time of the BS Finley call. That extra skater at the face off would have been a huge help as we may have had a guy to cover Gerbe coming down the slot, getting the pass and scoring the goal. Seems like it happened so fast that even if Porter got back on the ice he did not have time to get into the play. Also, I don't think Toews got beat cleanly on the faceoff. I think the faceoff squirted to the far wing who was uncovered due to being 5X3. He skated puck down the boards then passed to Gerbe coming down the slot. I'd like to see a reply just to refresh my memory. Cue RedFrog and a Youtube posting.

MSU is very young. Is there any talk of any of their super Sophs moving on to the NHL? JK is right, winning a NC is tough. A one and done tourney is much harder to win then a best of 5 of best of 7. Give me the NCAA's over the NHL any day.

JT is going to shock the world and stay around for another year. He understands that the thrill of an NCAA championship is more important than playing for a half ass pro team. The cash will always be there. The chance to leave a lasting Sioux legacy will not.
