Not sure what you mean by the "non-natural skill of skating". As opposed to the natural skill of running and blocking? No offense to football players who I have a lot of respect for, but it takes more "skill" to skate like these guys do that it does to run up and down a football field. I trust even you Bison1234 could strap on a pair of cleats and clod around a football field. I also suspect that we would hear your ankles snap like a couple of chicken bones if you laced up a pair of skates. P.S. You must be a math major. You're the first Bison fan I've met that can count all the way to four. Also, I can't wait to see the Bison playing in March Madness next April.

I live in Colorado Springs and have watched and listened to CC all year. Don't let their record fool you, they are a solid club. Had problems with injuries and sickness but everyone appears to be healthy. Solid goaltending. Remember, McElhinney was All-WCHA last year and the freshman Zabba has stepped up. We have to pepper them early. They get stronger as the game goes on. Their power play is starting to click. Owens commented on it during the coaches show this week and said that since the Sioux attack when shorthanded they have really worked hard this week at moving the puck quickly to find the open man. Key will be to not give them too many chances. Sertich is tough and Slattengren is a goal scorer. Owens also made the comment that CC is 4-0-2 against the Sioux the last 6 and that their kids are confident they can come into the Forks and get a win or two. It will take a solid effort for a couple of W's. I do agree that anything less than 4 points this weekend will be a dissapointment. Sioux have to wash that bad Badger taste away ASAP. Let's beat up CC this weekend so that the Tigers exact some revenge next week against the Dogs. Also, am psyched that we get the Saturday game on TV here. LET'S PLAY SOME HOCKEY.

Cookonovich, if only for the fact that he held on to his hair a shade longer. As for the poll, I suggest we change the question to which of SFiP avitar's are better looking. I, for one, prefer the new.

Didn't Troy Murray play for Canada that year? As for team USA, I would guess Craig Ludwig.

No brainer. Dogz all the way. First, I want showdown in late Feb with everything on the line.

GG, your mom just called and told me to tell you to get off the computer. You need to get ready before your shift at 7-11 starts. You sound a little frusterated now that she put the child block on your web surfing. Oh yeah, tell Ryan hi when you drop off his laundry.

Didn't see any lack of heart or leadership in racking up 19 wins against one of the toughest schedule in the country. The only thing that worries me about this weekend is the number of Sioux fans jumping off the wagon and ripping into each other. I hope all of you in the GF area show up and make some noise next weekend.

I was thinking the same thing. Haven't heard Fylling's name in a while and I love that guy. Prpich, Porter, Safford, McMahon, Massen, Genoway, et. al. These guys are too damn good to stay down for long.
-
CC just scored with 3.4 seconds left in the game to win 4-3. Came back from 3-1 to sweep. This team will be arriving in GF with a lot of confidence.
-
Wish I could but Mrs. gone next weekend and I got crumb snatcher duty. We should be both games on TV so it will be nice to see live action. Talk to you this week. CC just tied Alaska 3-3 with about 3 minutes left. Founier has two goals for the Wolves.

My guess is Brandt gets the nod. CC looks to sweep this weekend and is another team playing with their backs against the wall. Players feel they have to sweep out for any chance at NCAA birth. Of course, their motivation is playing at home. Should be a good test for the Sioux. Gotta love WCHA hockey. No easy ones in this league. Look at Duluth tonight. Gonna be a great finish!!!!! NDH, you in ND next weekend?
-
OK, but your on the bench. Maybe you can play next week. Didn't you see Remember the Titans?

LET'S GO BOYS. What's the time remaining?

You guys better have plenty of beer to wash down this negative BS come April when Jake is hoisting the NCCA hardware over his head while skating around the rink.
-
Interesting stuff. Notice in both of these games it was the Sioux who staged a late comeback before losing in OT. I'll take another OT loss tonight and another ring in April.
-
In either of those years, did the WCHA have 6 teams in the top 12 in the pairwise like it does this year? I doubt it. Also, with 9 games left, I'll take all comers that doubt the Sioux will finish at least 6-3 or 7-2. Hey Spackler, you got a pool over there or, better yet, any of that special grass you've been been working on?
-
I think it was DB's way of making sure that Jake learns to stay in the friggen net and not take uncessary chances. If memory serves, I remember a similar mistake by Karl back in the BC championship game that cost us a goal. Better Jake learns the lesson now than in late March or early April. This isn't the last we will see of Brandt. He'll give us some big W's yet this year.
-
IHO, it's a big mistake to go with one goalie down the stretch. Both JPar and Brandt have been solid and we need them both. The only think I can think is that Brandt responds to this type of "motivation". If not, can't see why Blais would undress him like that.
-
LOL. My calendar still has you heading this way to watch the Sioux advance to Beantown. Don't forget. Today is a sacred day. No way we lose tonight.
-
Beers right?
-
Funk spunk. What in the hell is everyone talking about. They lost one friggen game to a solid Wisconsin team. The team has been number one for 13 weeks. Our boys will bounce back. Everyone take a deep breath and get a little perspective. It's the middle of Feb and we are still the WCHA leaders. And Dogz. Congrats. Keep in rolling. What would be better than having the Cup on the line in late Feb.
-
Yeah, you're right. This one is a real dog.
-
Hey SFiP, You get a new girl or you just change it out this week since your regular wears Badger red? In any event, nice choice.
-
Thanks for the updates CRR. How is Brandt playing? Any idea on why he sat both last weekend? Was it just a practice issue or something more serious?

MTU now leading CC 5-2. Connor having a big game. 15:00 minutes left.
