  1. Last year against Tech the Sioux won Friday 8-0 and lost the next night. Start of their downward spiral. NDH, you heading north this weekend? We're off to Seattle in the AM in search of the cure.
  2. I agree. Tech beat Duluth, Wisconsin and CC and tied SC. I trust the boys don't think all it will take is to step on the ice. I hope Blais shows them the tape of the Saturday game last year after winning Friday 8-0. National Championship teams do not lose to weaker opponents, especially when so much is on the line. I hope we see the same team that took two last weekend.
  3. My real problem is that the bride could have just as soon picked the weekend the Sioux played Mankato. The nerve of them to pick Sioux - Duluth weekend. Some people only think of themselves.
  4. I'm going to be at a wedding in SF for a friend of the Mrs., sitting at a table listening to some blowhard talk about how much money he's made in the market. Worse part is that I'm sure they won't have Grain Belt on tap. I'm counting on NDH to provide text message updates from the DECC. GO SIOUX.
  5. IMO, this is the most important stat for next weekend. Penalties 1 Minnesota State 225-for-520 20.00 2 North Dakota 226-for-474 19.75 3 Minnesota 198-for-420 17.50 4 Denver 173-for-403 16.79 5 Wisconsin 182-for-400 16.67 6 Michigan Tech 172-for-399 16.63 7 Colorado College 183-for-396 16.50 8 Alaska-Anchorage 181-for-427 16.42 9 Minnesota-Duluth 185-for-384 16.00 10 St. Cloud State 146-for-303 12.63 North Dakota is second highest penalized team and Duluth scores on about 30% of its PP. The Sioux need to stay out of the box. With Don "Blow Whistle First, Find Penalty Later" Adams in control, our boys need to be extra disciplined.
  6. Owens very frusterated last night regarding the Duluth goal that wasn't and the CC goal that was called off. IMO, he has a reason to gripe, both crappy calls. That being said, hats off to Duluth. They got the Cup in their grasp. Let's see how they respond.
  7. Another goal by the Dogs. Now 4-3. Gotta give it to Duluth. This is the first time I have seen them this year. They are for real. Should be a great series next weekend.
  8. Duluth just tied CC at 3. PP goal. Beautiful goal. About 15:30 left in the third. Sioux need to stay out of the box next weekend.
  9. End of second. 3-2 CC.
  10. Great weekend for the Sioux. My guess is that we see Brandt next Friday. Does Fabian stay in the lineup or does DB go with experience? Still 3-2 CC. 2:45 left. 10.........................WOW..............................
  11. Stafford sounds like he is on fire. Let's invite those scouts to Duluth. Dogs just scored. 3-2 CC.
  12. Still 3-1 CC. About 14:30 to go in second.
  13. 1 Chicken, 2 chickens, 3 chickens . . . . .
  14. Article in CS paper said that Duluth had killed last 14-15 penalties. Tonight has been a little different. They are starting to apply some pressure. This one is far from overx
  15. 3-0 CC. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Duluth having trouble with penalties. All goals on the PP. Sandy has already used his timeout. About 9:00 left in the first.
  16. 2-0 CC already. Only 3:00 minutes in. YEAH.
  17. I think either channel 12 KRDO or 32 Adelphia. Not sure which.
  18. A dinner for two with Don Adam.
  19. No. Colorado Springs.
  20. Just checked in. WOW. Great first period. That's the great thing about this message board. I just scrolled through the threads and felt like I was there the whole time. Thanks for the updates. Poor it on Sioux. We get CC-Duluth game here on TV tonight. Go Tigers.
  21. CC putting some good pressure on. 15:46 Left in the 3rd. Duluth 3 CC 2
  22. I thought you was going to the game tonight. What gives? What hot date ends at 7:15?
  23. Brandt in net tonight.
  24. Ice, Me predict that CC is the iceberg and the Dogs are the Titantic. Put on your life vests. GO TIGERS!!!!!
