Bison06 did have a good answer in fairness. He also might of wanted to simply play football for UND or Bubba and his coaching staff. Lots of possible reasons.

That is definitely the appropriate answer for the school that lost the recruiting battle.

When JJ turned down the Bison when he came out of high school, maybe JJ didn't like the way NDSU treated him for not coming to the Ag school. Things are said sometimes.

And to think that we beat them one game this year and a couple weeks ago we gave them all they could handle in two games. Our program is very solid.

We had another year where we had a good record, but the games weren't all in Fargo. What makes this a great story is they were played in Fargo and the fact that we gave them a beat down in all the games.

Has it ever happened that in the same year that our men's basketball team went into Fargo and smoked NDSU, our women's basketball team went into Fargo and smoked NDSU, and our women's volleyball team went into Fargo and smoked NDSU, all in the SAME year? That is quite a accomplishment. Bison fans have got to be besides themselves. Even though we didn't win, our football team was the 7th seed. They have to be getting nervous. Their women's basketball program is in shambles.

UND smoked NDSU in Volleyball in Fargo this year too. Now the men's basketball team smoked NDSU in Fargo. What if the women's basketball team smokes the Bison in Fargo too on Saturday. Now that would be a story. That might be hard for Bison fans to tolerate.

So the Bison played their video and no one else did last week. Bison fans had a COW and raised a stink with the NCAA about not being able to play it this week. NDSU is very special and the NCAA dropped the policy which NDSU wasn't following anyway. Wouldn't this whole post season be easier on the Bison fans if the NCAA just gave them the trophy and said didn't have to play any more games. NDSU has had enough adversity.

Nothing to hang your head about there. It's too bad we had to play the top team in the country right away. This team could of won some games against a lot of the teams in the tourney. At least that is my opinion.

Maybe the 4 loss teams that didn't get in might have given them a good game too. I think we can all agree there are always teams that get in that possibly shouldn't be there.

Maybe those 5 loss MVFC teams shouldn't get in the playoffs.

Central Arkansas looked really bad last weak. Their leading Illinois State in the middle of the 4th quarter.

What does # 7 do in relation to #1 seed as far as bracketing?

I am all in for UND joining the Summit and reconnecting with the other Dakota schools. I am fine if we join the MVFC but have no problem staying in the Big Sky for football.

I think what concerned people was the lack of D1 non conference games. Everyone knows we play more D1 games in the conference. It is the early season non conference games that can help build excitement for the conference season. There in is the concern.

I don't think Waldorf is a D1 school. NDSU would have 3 D1 home games in preseason.

It is hard to build an excitement for a team when they are on the road all the time.

I would guess that the NDSU volleyball coach doesn't want UND in the Summit.

Is there a webcast for the UND/NDSU game and if so do you have to pay for it?

The most impressive stat on the game is we had 7 different people rush the ball and we had 7 different people catch balls. We are getting tough to defend.

We are televising 5 men's and women's basketball games and 4 women's hockey games. That ratio seems odd and confirms that UND is not going to drop women's hockey.

Usually Tom Miller doesn't get to involved in any kind of controversy. For some reason this story has him going nuts immediately. There must be a lot more to the impending story. This must a bigger story than we might think. Is it possible UND might be making a major conference move? I personally don't think so. If we did decide to drop more sports than we originally thought is that really so controversial? The new President might have looked at the new year end figures and thought UND will need to do more. Why is that so earth shattering. We might as well get what needs to be done before it bites us again.

The PR department at NDSU seems to be working hard lately.

It seems Bresciani doesn't want to do a live interview. He doesn't want to answer questions. Interesting. What does that mean?
