so do you want to go into the student section and one by one tell them to not yell swear words? or one by one kick them out? take your best shot, because i don't know how anyone proposes to change this. this is not just a few people here. this is thousands of rowdy college students here who are more likely to do the opposite because they know security can't possibly track who started the obscene cheers. common sense here. this is hockey.... not croquet. its rowdy and the crowd can get heated, meaning obscenities will be involved. if you don't have thick skin, well... we can't do much about that.

From what I've heard, it varied from person to person. It DID NOT work for me at all. I've heard others say it works for them. It's free though, so it's worth a shot. (you need Real Player to play it). I heard they are playing it at Sensers tonight so since I'm located in th Cities, I may try that.

UM....no he wasn't. He was a top-6 d-man for the U-18s when he was here and played most of the time on the 2nd or 3rd pairing for the season. I saw him play at the Under-18s in Fargo (more than once) and he was not the odd man out. so please...

If it was everyone's business he would of said what it was. It's my personal opinion that it's not anyone's business. You don't have to agree with me, that's just how I feel on the matter. I listened to the coach's show but didn't think twice about it. Issues can be vague. Whatever goes on behind closed doors is their business as well as how they choose to deal with locker room issues and I trust that they are taken care of. He probably mentioned it b/c it had to do with how they prepared for this weekend's road trip and how it affected preparation. If it was important for everyone to know it would have been said. It could be so many different things you're only going to drive yourself crazy wondering what it is. So I'm not going to waste my time stressing over it. That's just how I feel about it. Never said anyone had to agree with me.

I don't think it's really anyone's business what it is unless it starts to affect the team in a negative way, and I haven't noticed anything on the ice. Also I don't think late night parties are a "locker room" issue per se. I would guess it would be more along the lines of clashing on different issues (personalities, ice time, etc)

He did not return after that hit. The Hawks coach said they are going to see how he's doing tomorrow. Rumor is upper body injury. Hopefully it's not serious.

I missed 3. The ones I missed? Dartmouth, UMass-Lowell, and Norwich? I literally typed in every school i could think of. NORWICH? really?

Why would we need one more out? We had 8 D last year after Miller moved to Defense? I don't think Gleason will move to forward, but hypothetically if that happened, we would have 8 d which is what we have this year. This year we brought in one less forward instead. I think they brought in an extra D because this summer we didnt know if LaPoint was going to be ready to go and MacWilliam had shoulder surgery, so we didn't know if he'd be ready either and we needed insurance. It does present problems for next year all around. We have forwards that want to come in and not enough spots, so a few are going to be held back and not enough D spots available on the roster. I'm glad I'm not the one making these decisions.

how could you not know that they know that!? would be a better question. like it was stated before, the speech was given to the Olympic team, not the Gophers. There may have been a lot of Gophers on that team, but they are still Team USA and most aren't going to cheer against their own country (including me) because of where they players came from and it was a great moment in hockey history.

Tony Lucia is a pansy that likes to pick on people smaller than him and can't man up when he gets called out for it. Vandy's line had some chances, but there were some other aspects that they did not play that well. They gave up the puck too much for my taste.

I have some friends who went to the series up there last year and no one sits near the ice. If I was going I'd have plenty of seating options...lol

I think i've heard that's what it is. Because there isn't a lot of noise with the crowd, they have to create their own excitement to get psyched up. Also, some other notable ties: Miami and New Hampshire tied as did CC and Wisco

i'll take the tie, considering overall i thought we played like crap. it was nice to see us battle back when we went down to tie it up. just wish we could have held a lead. some things to work on. i agree with whoever said kristo got mugged all night.
