Sharp will go before Seabrook. Heard it here first. (okay, probably not) The talk about the Hawks core players has to include Seabrook, along with the 3 mentioned already. I'm not entirely sure Kane's deal is going to be more than Toews. That might just be speculation, and if it is I doubt it's much more. I'd expect their deals to be pretty similar. They have the same agent. (maybe that doesn't matter, but if it was me...)

I would guess they will be letting some other players go. There are several players that are rumored to be on the trading block. If the Blackhawks wanted to keep their big 3 (Toews, Kane and Keith) they knew they'd have to sacrifice some other players.

Exactly. It's hockey not a freaking tea party. the code of conduct sucks the life out of the arena, particularly the student section, it was already apparent on tv. I feel my fan participation should not have to be put on a leash. I understand the swearing is a concern around children. but i also know they are going to be exposed to that at some point in their life and you can only shield them from it for so long. (just my opionion) Some people just have foul mouths (i will admit to being one of them when i'm angry) -- but you don't have to go to a hockey game to see that. I'm all for making games a pleasant environment for everyone, including opposing fans as I've been on the opposite side of that before, but i just wish it could have been done without taking the away from the atmosphere of the game. I hope this will challenge the students and others to figure out a way to maintain a good, LOUD, game atmosphere at the arena without violating the "code."

it was actually "locker room issues" -- now I don't know how that's different from "off-ice incidents" or if it even is. And I don't think it was a serious concern whatever it was.

all home games are supposed to be on FCS, it might not be up yet as it is a little less than a week away -- I'd wait a few days to start stressing. In addition, I did hear the Friday game is on the NHL network as well, so if anyone gets that, as I do.

That's not for certain. Last I heard was he skated today... and they will see how morning skate goes tomorrow before determining if he plays. If he doesn't play tomorrow, I'm sure it will be for their next game.

The Stars actually lost the rights to him because of a new league rule that says you can't affiliate players more than 5 years younger than the overage limit. I don't know where his USHL rights are. I read this over the summer that Lincoln no longer had his rights.
