Why would we need one more out? We had 8 D last year after Miller moved to Defense? I don't think Gleason will move to forward, but hypothetically if that happened, we would have 8 d which is what we have this year. This year we brought in one less forward instead. I think they brought in an extra D because this summer we didnt know if LaPoint was going to be ready to go and MacWilliam had shoulder surgery, so we didn't know if he'd be ready either and we needed insurance. It does present problems for next year all around. We have forwards that want to come in and not enough spots, so a few are going to be held back and not enough D spots available on the roster. I'm glad I'm not the one making these decisions.

how could you not know that they know that!? would be a better question. like it was stated before, the speech was given to the Olympic team, not the Gophers. There may have been a lot of Gophers on that team, but they are still Team USA and most aren't going to cheer against their own country (including me) because of where they players came from and it was a great moment in hockey history.

Tony Lucia is a pansy that likes to pick on people smaller than him and can't man up when he gets called out for it. Vandy's line had some chances, but there were some other aspects that they did not play that well. They gave up the puck too much for my taste.

I have some friends who went to the series up there last year and no one sits near the ice. If I was going I'd have plenty of seating options...lol

I think i've heard that's what it is. Because there isn't a lot of noise with the crowd, they have to create their own excitement to get psyched up. Also, some other notable ties: Miami and New Hampshire tied as did CC and Wisco

i'll take the tie, considering overall i thought we played like crap. it was nice to see us battle back when we went down to tie it up. just wish we could have held a lead. some things to work on. i agree with whoever said kristo got mugged all night.
