This pisses me off everytime I see it. For those who don't know how this played out, daddys boy Tony Lucia clubs Trupp in the head from behind and lays him out away from the play, Jones calls him on it and instead of manning up Lucia skates away like the puss that he is. Then Hill gets on the post-game show and runs his mouth.

No. Not ever. One of 2 things happened here: 1) Shaft said that if UND gets rid of the nickname there would be a better chance of Big Ten schools scheduling them for games and his kid misinterpreted it, which I can see happening, and is probably the case. 2) Shaft really did say it hoping it would get around and intended to use it as a spin for the SBHE to soften the stance of the pro-nickname crowd. I can't believe this would be the case because anybody with half a brain could see through it, but if it is true...pretty slimy.

Actually people get more upset when someone who doesn't know sh^t about anything lies about every single subject they comment on.

I think I was at Bunkers once, younger crowd place packed tight on weekends with live music? If it's the place I'm thinking about the cops came through while we were there counting people (for capacity I suppose). Didn't know they had food but it was a hopping place, college crowd would love it.

Speaking of that, was good to see Nelson back out there and skating well today, I thought we'd seen the last of him for at least the weekend after the hit yesterday. Other than that we seemed to get through the weekend unscathed unless I'm forgetting something.

No kidding, the way they're firing on all cylinders right now I wish the puck was dropping THIS Thursday.

Nothing there was conclusive that's for sure, I still say I'd have to see a still shot of the puck across the line to be convinced.

With this much controversy the NCAA should release the video still of the puck across the line. I won't be holding my breath waiting though.

They had their chances in the first, UMD took 3 or 4 penalties right off the bat but Union couldn't connect.

I always worry about how non-WCHA refs will call the games that WCHA teams play in, love em or hate em our refs let em play physical hockey, other conferences refs...not so much.
