I know it is just me but these outdoor games have lost their luster, pizzaz or whatever you want to call it. it was a cool thing 4-5 years ago but now they are just so commonplace.

I'd love to see production out of this freshman class like st.cloud got this year, what was it 53 goals or something like that. but that may be wishful thinking.

exactly, and to go even further how many times has an eventual stanley cup champion lost game one of a series and gone on to win the cup. i'm pretty sure quite a few. heck even in the nba it happens. there were several times when jordanplayed for the bulls they lost game one and went on to win the series.

yep, despite the fact hat the arena looked half empty, it was a sellout of 18000+. plus these arenas and places that host regionals have to submit bids to the ncaa. the ncaa makes their $$$. the actual arena may not. I'm guessing the only faciltiy to make $$$ onthis year's regionals was manchester and possibly providence.

what's the word on the walters kid from omaha. he had a stellar season and I think is undrafted. could he leave as a free agent?

in the last month of the season we were hard to play against once(tech sunday night). in previous seasons we were hard to play against almost every game coming down the stretch. this years team didn't have that "edge". we were never forcing our game upon the opponent, we were getting sucked into their game.

look at coach K at duke. kind of like hak where he was there for the longest time and came close a number of times, finally broke through and now has what won 3 or 4.

are you sure about that? hak tried what 20 different players on there including some nhl draft picks and never found one that worked. seems the only one that worked was playing in bridgeport this season.

if I'm not mistaken both of these schools went undefeated against the WCHA this season.

I never said I thought a player like him would be a fifth liner. I just look at it first line versus first line and etc. talent and skillwise I feel our first line overmached theirs. but in performace and playing as a team yale outclassed us. do teams like that not have some players that would fit in nicely here, absolutely they do.

the most impressive crowd I have ever been a part of was on a sunday afternoon in 1998 at the old ralph when UND came back from down 3-0 and beat the gophers. wasn't even sellout crowd, but was the loudest I have been a part of at any UND game.

Bingo. yeah when the kids get here they obviously want to win a NCAA Title, but that isn't the driving force for the majority of kids that come here. look at the two teams playing tomorrow. how many draft picks do they have combined? 7. UND has what 15. big difference in philosophies.

player for player I still think UND matches or over matches Yale in every position possible. but skill and talent don't always equate to the best team and that is where Yale overmatched UND.

let's remember this, there are 59 teams in college hockey and only 1 of them gets to end their season with a wn. that means 58 other teams seasons' end in disappointment. option B gives us the opportunity every year to be that one team that ends their season with a win, doesn't mean it is always going to happen or will happen. but we have the chance to do it.
