this whole new ralph thing is stupid. under that assumption shouldn't the ralph just attract recruits itself without und even scouting players? would und even have to offer scholarships as recruits would be lined up to get them on a first come first serve basis and every other team in the country gets und's leftovers? how is it that a recruit would choose another university over und becuase of the ralph? are all these kids that choose to go to another univeristy over und just plain idiots becaue they choose to play subpar conditions?

in some cases yes. having to win only three versus four I would say it is easier. how many titles has blais won under the current format?

I would even go as to say things aren't the same since 2000. there is more parity and some mock it but the playoff system is different as well. when blais won his two it took one win to get to the frozen four and there were 12 teams not 16 in the tournament. let's go back in time and in 1997 had und needed to get by michigan to make it to the frozen four how many on here would think that would have happened? instead all they needed was a win against cornell and off they went. and in 2000 they beat niagara to go to the frozen four. little easier routes then than today.

looking at the schedule best chance for a hot streak comes in the next 10 games, after that it looks like und will be a resident in splitsville , usa the rest of the way.

agree and I don't care what people say the fact it was at yost(it is very difficult to win there) doesn't make it as big as mich losing to bu or even mich beating und in 2011. those two were bigger, but not as big as minny losing to holy cross.

2011 fighting sioux beat michigan 7 out of ten times, but unfortunately not that ONE time either. in a one and done these things happen and that is the beauty of sports, on any given night.

a win would have been great, but a tie isn't the worse thing. if the team that showed up and played tonight shows up from here on out this team will win a lot of games. hey, we didn't lose.

it's nice to see OD's name in the lineup however, unless he is close to 100% I would rather go with someone else until he is closer to 100%. not worth risking further injury or putting him out loger with his current ailment

not to be devils advocate but yale was 5-2-1 last year at this point and 8-3-2 at the x-mas break. their troubles came in february when they lost 5 straight. but point well taken on the others and we will just have to see if history can repeat itself.

at this point no, as you have to have an above .500 record unless you win the conference tourney and get the AQ. so und will need to have a few sweeps and some win and tie weekends.

johnson has a staying in one place issue. way too many jobs in the last several years. whenever something "greener" comes along he seems to jump ship. there would be others that would be better than him.

win tonight, sweep st. lawrence, split at western and sweep northern would put us 10-7-1 heading into x-mas, heck even 9-8-1 would be a decent mark heading into x-mas. get healthy and see if they can go on some kind of run in the second half.

because I'm guessing they came after those years. if one is red I know his first didn't come until 11 or 12 years in. and it took york a while at bc to get one.

how low? und was in a regional final last year and it is only november. good lord. if this program bothers you that much, quite paying attention to it. all programs and seasons have their ups and downs. this may be a down year but again it is november.
