there have also been some gopher teams in hakstol's tenure that have as talented as some of those earlier teams and minny didn't make many frozen fours and they play a more open style. talent alone doesn't guarantee success, just ask miami this year.

but to get to denver they beat miaimi in worcester(sp) to get there. and in the only time I can recall in the last 10 plus years they have had to travel west for a regional they got smoked by CCin St. Louis in 2011. just sayin...

even if Hak were to win a title this year, there would still be many on here that would want him gone because he hasn't won 2,3 or 4 by now.

those deals mean absolutely nothing in the coaching world. I know it wasn't a 10 year deal but ask NDSU how the Bohl extension worked out and didn't the all holy one Blais leave during the middle of his contract?

too bad neither of these games is on cbssports as und is nearly unbeatable the past several years when they have games televised by them.

I mentioned it earlier that miami isn't your normal last place team. are they having a terrible year? absolutely. they are also the most talented last place team Hak has ever faced, and for as bad of a year that miami is having they are no tech or anchorage or mankato or bemidji state. does this sweep mean give hak a place on mount rushmore, absolutely not, but any sweep you can get in february isn't a bad thing either.
