I've been told by a few people about what happened and after thinking it over, I am now on Faison and Haks side 100%. I am one of those people who do not condone what happen and I wish these players would've used their heads a little more. With that I do know the Captains are the ones taking the heat, they are not necessarily the ones who caused the problems but they didn't do anything to prevent it. I hope this is a huge wake up call for these players and they learn from it.

I sure hope they don't hire Derek Shepherd or Todd Anderson!

These suspensions have nothing to do with what NDSU DIDN'T do. These suspensions are meant to let everyone else that plays a sport on campus that this will not be accepted. UND should have a very good hockey team this year and this should let everyone know that their mind should be on hockey and not partying.

People may not like Faison but he did the right thing. Maybe GT should be job shadowing him to see how its done

This sets the tone for the year, Hakstol knows that he has a good class coming in and there is a possibility of them going pretty far. This just reminds the rest of the team that they have big goals for this year and they better stay on the right track.

It's sad to watch you try and explain what these guys did was "no big deal". Yes, our University has its faults but our Coaches/AD and President are not running to the media and telling them that "these boys have had their feelings hurt long enough and they will not be punished". Not only is this a huge black eye for NDSU but it puts a black eye on North Dakotas educational system.

Don't tell us that this doesn't affect us when it does. This petition fraud is a big deal and a lot of groups (that I support) lost out on a lot of money.

I could see him falling that far because of this, which is pretty sad because he easily could have been a 2nd rounder.

If you don't think this incident isn't that big of an issue, you have some thick green and gold glasses on. Not only are we talking about how LAZY and INCOMPETENT these players are but they also DEFRAUDED the state of North Dakota. This might get overlooked if he was a guaranteed 1st round pick but he isn't. This issue will follow him where ever he goes and it will be hard to overcome (not saying he can't, just harder).

Playing at a D-1AA school and having a crappy background isn't going to bring him up on anyones draftboard (or FA board). There are 100's of better players than him and most of them probably have better character.

I don't think its the fact that the players arn't suspended yet but its the fact that the AD and Coach Bohl are acting like this isn't that big of a deal. This is a huge deal and it should've been dealt with right away instead of the "we will wait until all the facts are out" mentality.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

I wouldn't say he is a cheater by any means, he just holds a different standard of each player.

i think the real problem is that NDSU/Bohl/Taylor knew about this a few weeks ago and decided not to take care of the issue and they continue to not take care of it.
