Wow...I'll take your word for it, cavedurtis. I have always assumed that as bad as 35E/694 can be, 94 west from St Paul thru Minneapolis and beyond must be much worse. I guess I was wrong.
LOL...so can I try to find a somewhat revealing avatar but not go over the top?
Wayne Gretzky laughing at Team Canada's new Nike swift jerseys is getting boring.
I was just watching the news here and was going to post something, farce. You beat me to it.
I recall a Final Five Thursday game between Wisconsin and I believe Colorado College a few years ago. Walking to the X...no problem. Walking out and driving home? Near-disaster!
I counted about two dozen Maine fans, parents, etc. Ohio State brought a band, a mascot, some cheerleaders, and little else. Cornell had far and away the biggest contingency of the 3 schools not named Minnesota and they barely filled up one section.
Well, from me to you, please relay the message to your roommate, fiancee, husband, wife, domestic partner, or whatever to get HIS or HER facts straight before spouting off.
As opposed to the announced crowd of 9,054 at last year's western regional championship game? Emphasis on the word 'announced.' Plenty of good seats still available for a game in your home rink that determined the fourth and final Frozen Four participant.
I can vouch for that. Amtrak leaves Mpls/St Paul at around 11 pm and arrives in Williston at 11 am the following morning. On the return trip, it leaves Williston at 6-7 pm, which I'm guessing puts the train in Grand Forks around 10-11 pm. I've taken it many times and it's always been a good experience. In fact, my mom has taken the train probably a dozen times between Mpls and Williston so she can visit family here. A round-trip ticket would be less than $100 guaranteed.
