  1. They apparently love you and me more. Took my Healthpartners 2014 health assessment today. While I would like to say I gave honest answers about my diet, I can't. I lied my a$$ off...donuts, pizza, Taco Bell, Mountain Dew. Yum.
  2. Sometimes the easy bait gets the bite.
  3. I have family and friends who live in the Dickinson area and while most, if not all of them couldn't tell you the difference between a hockey puck and a cow pie, I would bet they all could tell you if the Bison won on Saturday.
  4. Stamkos breaks his leg...against the Bruins.
  5. I see NDSU signs all over my commute in the Twin Cities - they're everywhere.
  6. I can still recall the line at Krispy Kreme at the MOA years ago being a hundred people long...what the heck happened to that place?
  7. Great post. I'd like to salute the men of Doolittle's Raid and thank them for their service. If you don't know their story, here's a great article about their final reunion which was held this past weekend. These men gave the United States hope during its darkest hour in WWII...and they will soon be gone. May God bless the 76 who are gone and be with the 4 who are left in the time they have here on earth. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2496249/To-WWII-Doolittle-Raiders-toast-70th-anniversary-daring-mission-opening-117-year-old-cognac.html]http://]http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2496249/To-WWII-Doolittle-Raiders-toast-70th-anniversary-daring-mission-opening-117-year-old-cognac.html
  8. Hmnnnnnnn...sounds like that Herb Brooks guy was onto something in about '78-'79...

    Fire Muss

Two wins in a row could be viewed as 'improvement' and reason to keep Muss around...

Right on! Wasn't a similar play from Pop Warner all over ESPN and YouTube a while back? Even those coaches were on the sidelines screaming for someone to touch te ball and down it.
  11. As originally imposed, the four year reduction of grants-in-aid began with this season - from 25 to 15. The four year reduction in total grants-in-aid allowed was to begin next season (from 85 to 65). Yes, this is before the penalties were revised. Essentially, we're talking about the same thing - only there are two different sets of four-year periods that the NCAA imposed. http://www.ncaa.org/...2/july/21207232 With PSU players allowed to transfer with no penalty and blue-chip kids (with a couple of exceptions) not even giving PSU a look, the Nittany Lions played Minnesota with only 61 recruited scholarship players in the line-up along with 40 walk-ons. This despite the number not being officially reduced to 65 until next season. You're kidding yourself if you think that doesn't handcuff them against a full-scholarship line-up like the Gophers had. If you view Minnesota winning at home against Penn State as an upset this season, you obviously haven't been paying attention to college football over the past two seasons. Now, back on topic, UND is closer to UNC in terms of D-1 football transition even though it would prefer to think it is closer to NDSU...for those in the 'Fire Muss' camp, I'm not sure Saturday's win is good news...
  12. I was going to say the exact same thing! Fire Muss, duck and bunny lemmings blindly supporting Hakstol, unacceptable to not win an NCAA title by now, greatest facility in the world, fans deserve better, I won't sit back and watch academics and athletics suffer at "my alma mater"...now it's hey, lighten up and have some fun, it's only a game?
  13. 1 goal win unacceptable. If UND had Dean Blais' clone behind the bench coaching against the actual Dean Blais this weekend, the Sioux would have won both nights by 10-0 scores.
  14. I like that too, but nothing wrong with saluting fans who stick around (no pun intended) and watch a loss.
  15. Lots of teams salute the fans after every home game, win or lose.
  16. Cue the scene from Tommy Boy: Frankly, son, I'm at a loss for words.
  17. On the plus side, Wilbur, your SiouxSports.com hat is keeping you warm tonight, right?
  18. Nope. The four-year reduction in scholarships began with the 2013-2014 season.
  19. When was the last time Penn State football played with 61 scholarship and 40 walk-on players?
