Big wins for Michigan Tech and Northeastern tonite...Tech Huskies beat Ferris State and Zombie Huskies (see their logo and you'll understand) shut out the Irish 4-0.

Yea, it'll be nice if Toews and the boys can make the Gwozzer frown. I just hope Tony Couture plays well in net, though. He and Andy Kollar have been pretty weak lately.

Patrick Ruesse should really just refrain from making any comments at all involving the sport of hockey. "Grandfather" in SCSU and UMD for what reason? Just because? Unbelievable. And, you're correct - it really is amazing how few people in the TC media truly understand things related to hockey.

Mariucci, you never answered my question (and it was a serious one - perhaps you didn't see it earlier on this thread) about the North Star tournament...do you have any insight as to how the rotation system was set up and how the schedule worked out? I know the system is set up where one of the three schools not named Minnesota "falls off" the rotation for the yearly tournament. In a perfect system, my thought is that the team that went 0-2 would be the team that should be replaced the following year, but that's just my opinion.

I have not seen a game there, that's why I was curious. Thanks for the insight.
