My sources tell me this was the first time the orange jerseys were worn this season by Florida. They were originally going to be used in the Kentucky game but that plan was scrapped at the last minute.

You're Darby Hendrickson's kid?
-
Orange helmet, orange jersey, orange pants? Tell me they didn't!

The NFL really needs to do something about home-field advantage for these division "winners" who have a sub-.500 record. I give the Cardinals more credit for going 11-5 than I do the Panthers for their division title. When's the banner-raising ceremony? LOL!

Philadelphia should be kicking themselves for losing to the Cardinals back in October.

Nope, shortbusguy was correct with using the word. "Irregardless" is commonly used in error - the recommended word is "regardless." Let me use the word in a sentence example: Regardless of what happens tonight, I predict the Gophers dropping in the next poll. Not only are you not "write," you're wrong.

Florida busts out the orange jerseys for the Birmingham Bowl...I don't know what took them so long this season...maybe Muschamp wasn't a fan of them? I think they're awesome.
-
It's not like Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, or Miami (OH) would draw better. I think your 20-25,000 estimate is about 10,000 too high.

UND's drawing (on an extraordinary day) 10,000 for a home game. What do you suppose a "Nordic Bowl" game between, say, Bowling Green and North Dakota would draw at the new Vikings stadium?

What I predicted was Merrimack beating Minnesota. Was it the 2007 tournament where the games were swapped around, because I'm quite certain it wasn't always the case that Minnesota automatically played at 7:00pm on Saturday night.

Back in 1997, at the Thursday night WCHA Final Five game, the announcement was made at the St Paul Civic Center that the #1 seed's (North Dakota's) game time had been changed to 2:00pm Friday and that Minnesota would be playing at 7:00pm. My roommate at the time had friends who drove to St Paul from Bemidji for the Friday night game not realizing that the Sioux had already played earlier that day. I kid you not. While I realize that the "Gopher rule" also came into play in Milwaukee at the 1999 WCHA Final Five, I still can't help but recall my the look on my roommate's friends' faces when Minnesota came out for pre-game warm-ups. They literally had no clue about the change.

Watched the highlights again from this game...1st ENG was the result of Anthony DeAngelo not keeping the puck in the zone and then making a half-a**ed attempt at a cross-ice pass on the retreat into the US zone. The second ENG was definitely courtesy of Sonny Milano, #13.

Not to nit-pick, but that was 1982, not 1985. One of the top five greatest songs ever, "The Boys of Summer," was released in 1984. Last week, we had one of our own talking heads appear on the screen with a big smile talking about some local feel-good community event - which was preceded seconds earlier by the story of a young child being found dead at a Brooklyn Park daycare. Timing...some people just don't understand it.

Union at Boston U tonight is being televised by NBCSN. Looking forward to seeing that one. As predicted, Mariucci Classic game-times today are as follows: Championship: Merrimack vs UMass-Lowell 4:00pm 3rd Place game: RIT vs Minnesota 7:00pm

The American, eh? News to me... http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/06/10/umass-bracing-for-life-as-an-independent-but-for-how-long/

How much money is UMass raking in at the FBS level?
-
Just watch...it'll happen again tomorrow!
-
Yes. And then Minnesota promptly reversed the game-times and held the championship game the following afternoon and played the 3rd place game at night.

GPL set to implode in 5...4...3...

Alabama-Huntsville defeats Alaska-Anchorage 3-2.

I have a feeling that Germany won't be around for next year's tournament. Looking forward to seeing Belarus in December 2015/January 2016.
