I suppose a simple check of the schedule would have helped me out there with St Cloud, but thank you for the correction. Our points are the same though: Minnesota wants to pat itself on the back as being the gracious big brother when in fact, they're still playing with the majority of the toys.

What CHN failed to mention is that Union's opponent that night also had two 24-year olds on its roster. In fact, they were the two oldest players on the ice (Jake Parenteau and Tom Serratore, both of whom turned 25 a couple of months after the championship game).

A different poster wanted a mulligan for UND for the Idaho State and Weber State losses. Good teams seem to overcome key injuries. I think if UND wins one of those two games, EIU is sitting at home for the playoffs.

I already pointed out that EIU's argument for being included is not as good as 6-5 WIU's.

Nothing wrong with a 7-4 season in year two of the Bubba regime. Playoffs would have been a bonus. Disappointed, sure, but hardly a total screw-job. I think WIU had a better argument than EIU.
