The extra charge is due to the fact that 3-4 times per game, a Minnesota-uniformed player will collapse on the ice and clutch his face for 45 seconds, at which point Super Chexx will remove an opposing player and banish him from the game. The “injured” Gopher player will be reinstalled just in time for the start of the ensuing 5:00 power play.

I hope the Bruins win the Stanley Cup this year. Those poor sports fans in New England have pretty much had nothing to cheer for over the past 20 years...

We'll see how long David Quinn lasts in New York as well. Rangers fans have about as much patience as Flyers fans.

If Hakstol coaches again in the NHL and wins 11 Stanley Cups in a row, some folks here will STILL grumble that he sucks as a coach because he couldn’t win an NCAA hockey title.
