When you compare the intensity and meaning of regular season games to playoff games there is a difference. Regular season loss, okay let’s prepare for the next game, playoff loss, okay let’s prepare for next year. If you couldn’t decifer between the two that’s your problem.

They are only 1-1 on the road in FCS playoffs (not championship games) and hasn’t been on the road since 2010. Playing at the Jacks or at JMU would be uncharted territory for this class.

Bubba’s D helped Muss’s O a lot (referring to Muss’s recruits). We probably will never see a QB like Braden Hanson. That 600 yard game against Montana was epic, but the D was horrible. Now we have the flip side, our O hasn’t really put up the points like Muss’s, but our D has kept us in the game. I don’t think Bubba should be fired but I think maybe some assistants should be gone as of yesterday.

So Bubba can take a team from 3-8 (2013 Muss’s last season) to 5-7 in 2014 with mostly Muss’s players to 7-4 and an FBS win (our first) in 2015 to winning the BSC last season and getting us into the playoffs (our first), how is that not DI competent? You wanna go back to the Muss days and reserect the Fire Muss thread? Even Dale Lennon had a hiccup season in 2002 or do fans forget that. Did Roger Thomas have a hiccup season of course he did. Yes 3 wins sucks but it’s not the end of the world.

I’m happy we set an all time attendance record (average per game), it showed the support for this program after Muss nosedived it into the ground. I’m not happy we lost. But it’s all about UND hockey for you from this point since football is done, that’s all that matters.

Why would Bubba’s seat be very hot? He took a sh*t show of a program that Muss had and in 2 seasons had us on a verge of a playoff berth only to be screwed by the playoff committee. Then the following season we win the conference and make the playoffs. This season was f’d up by massive amounts of injuries. One losing season since 2014 is not any reason to can Bubba. Now Rudolph needs to go as the offensive play calling is horrible. We have good receivers and kick ass running backs but the OL does need to be better whether it’s more meat on them or more time in the weigh room something needs to be done to get them to pass block. Now the only way into the playoffs next year is an at large bid, no conference title until 2020, if we can’t make the playoffs by then or if we have more 3 win seasons then maybe a change at head coach would be warranted, but for now no need to jump off the ledge.

Keep your hopes up on that. A lot of more important issues to spend money on like property tax relief, and flood protection instead of another stadium.

TCU has the smallest stadium in the Big 12 and is still 26,000 bigger than the Fargodome. Just how much is a 45k stadium? Better save your pennies because as a Fargo taxpayer I am not paying for it.

Dalrymple and Burgum told the schools to cut, UND had a ton more sports than NDSU so now I believe we have only 1 more than SU. UND needed to cut travel dollars so the SL is a better choice than the Big Sky. Patty V waited a long time to accept another member not us, she wanted USD back in 2010 not both of us that’s why we ended up in the Big Sky. Whether or not you don’t want us as your rival doesn’t matter, history says otherwise.
