What is the earliest date that our team will have a game under the BSC name? Football, volleyball, soccer, etc?

All I have to say about this trash talk is thank God its not a Bison fan. I love having trash talk from other schools. NDSU trash talk gets too old and since we will never face them (unless its in the playoffs) thats all we can do is trash talk...at least in just under 4 months we can settle the trash talking with Montana on the field. Lets the trashing continue!!!!!

Can't wait to see Bison fans cry when Omaha and South Dakota go to the dance while the Bison sit and watch.

Welcome to ss Alphagriz1....as for the season. I agree with the UND fans that say UND will beat the teams we beat last year. Plus Cal Poly will fall, UND plays them pretty close and will comeout on top. UND is extremely tough at home so because we are coming out of the GWFC doesn't mean we are in the same class as a UNC, or Idaho State. I think the only losses UND will have is EW, SDSU, and Montana State. Mark it down 7-3 (DI games)...playoff bound!!

The closer UND gets to NDSU in the polls the more Kolpack is going to blame the voters....no way UND can overtake NDSU's #1 sport.

We wouldn't be having this issue if they would post what coaches voted for what teams.

You are wrong because you are not using Bison logic....NDSU went down because its a whole UND conspiracy. UND personally called all the pollsters and told them vote for UND not NDSU. But to be serious...you hit the nail on the head, why did it wait 3 weeks for the confusion to begin and not at the beginning of the season, plus how come the confusion didn't start in 2008 when UND moved up. Amazing it took 3 years for the confusion to start.

It could be in the middle of the season and UND will come up and the only talk about USD will be in a thread titled Game day NDSU vs USD.

Which is sad since USD is NOW in your conference. Another team that could bump NDSU out of the playoffs and not just in football. If NDSU were on the bubble and they end up getting bumped from the playoffs in favor of USD...will UND still come up? How about Kolpack, and the rest of the Herd worry more about their conference mates than the former ones.

Exactly...the polls only boosted UND's confidence even more. UND didn't care if we were ranked #1, #21 or #40. Their goal and only goal was winning the conference. It was our goal since 2008. It happened that was it. Now 2012 our goal is the same as NDSU's...win a National Title. NDSU has a jump start on that being ranked at the top while UND will start at the bottom of the poll (and most likely out of the poll) and work its way up. Win and you have no problem winning a national title...this isn't the FBS.

But NDSU fans didn't voice it...they only voiced about UND being ranked.

Here's what I love...NDSU fans hated that UND was ranked, they didn't play anybody and those weren't quality wins. But what about South Dakota their future conference mate? They were ranked as well and I didn't hear a peep from NDSU fans. USD played 3 non DI teams just like UND. USD beat a ranked EWU, beat 3 NAIA/DII teams, SUU and UC Davis all at home!! UND beat Drake, a ranked SUU team (on the road), 3 NAIA/DII teams, UC Davis (on the road), UNC (on the road) and a RANKED South Dakota team to win a share of the conference. So after that comparison USD deserves to be ranked and UND didn't? At most both didn't deserve to be ranked but that wasn't the case on Bisonville and in Kolpack's head. It was all UND and only UND. So i think going 3-0 on the road vs FCS opponents, and beating 2 ranked teams seems impressive to me plus sharing a title with Cal Poly should give them some leverage in entering the polls somewhere. I think NDSU fans should be more worried about being ranked behind SHSU, or GSU or a Montana team than worring if UND is #17, or #25.

Exactly. Should it matter if you are white, black, red, yellow, purple? We are all people...that is all that matter.

I think UND could go 8-3 with losses to EWU, MSU, and SDSU. I think UND at home against Montana helps out alot, plus with Montana's offseason problems they could either still be strong or they could be a middle of the pack team. Hard to say with them.

I give UND a 99.99999999999999999% chance at beating SDSoM. I hope geaux_sioux is right that this UND team is not the garbage team that fell to SF. I do hope UND puts up a 70 or so on SDSoM. Maybe a good 42 at halftime to give the youngsters some gametime. Then when PSU comes to town all the bugs have been worked out and we can start our march to the playoffs!!!

Thats my road map to getting ranked at the top. Will it happen you never know, most likely...not. I am a realist thats why I said it could happen just like SDSoM could beat UND, you never know. If I said it will happen thats being outrageous. But if UND gets those key wins, and NDSU falls to Colorado State, UNI, SDSU, hell even USD...they both could be neck and neck in the polls which would make Kolpack's blood pressure go up into the danger category.

Could that happen this season...yes it could. With our schedule pretty much even with NDSU's (minus the first game...SDSoM vs Prairie View) a win for UND vs a loss for NDSU could send UND ahead of NDSU especially if we get past the Montana's, EWU, and maybe an upset FBS win against the Aztecs.
