I wouldn't be surprised that in 10 years the FBS and BCS will be 2 separate divisions with the FCS being the 3rd tier in DI football. Especially if more teams become a Boise State and challenge for a title but is denied due to their crappy division (MAC, SB, CUSA, etc..

UND is 0-20 all time vs the Gophers. Is there a hurry to play them?

I think it would really sting if UND were to beat the Gophers in football then a few months later sweep them at Mariucci Arena.

Its only about name recognition, coaches don't pay any attention to teams not on their schedule.

Maybe this is just a learning experience. Even good teams out of the GWFC (NDSU) struggled early in a "real" conference. We do need major improvements on defense in the offseason whether its getting rid of Mannausau or not something has to change before playing Valpo in September.

Normally we put up 40's and 50's against Morningside or a Crookston not BSC teams or a San Diego State. And defense we don't consistantly give up over 35...not since the 1980's.

Why does it seem like our offense and defense are now flip flopped. We used to have a solid defense and not much for offense now our defense is crap and our offense is lighting up defenses.
