Very true! UND cannot overlook anyone, and its easy to pick games because we don't play them, but the players have to give 100% whether you are UND, NDSU, or anyone else, because any team can beat anyone. Drake almost beat Montana State, a 3 win UND team in 2010 had the lead late at Montana. There are no sure locks. EWU wasn't a lock against UND, neither is NAU. These games will prove who is more prepared.

Not really. UND found out they don't need the NDSU game they can schedule other Big Sky teams as OOC. NDSU had to schedule PV at the last minute. I cannot wait until GT is forced to pull an UNI and schedule a DII team because he declines to schedule UND.

??? Is it because they played top BCS teams? If so how come Savannah St isn't in the top 20. 1 DII win shouldn't put you in the top 20. They should be out like Montana.

UND usually has big crowds at Homecoming. Now with a Big Sky opponent and playoffs still a possibility I think the total will be close to the 10,000 range. Maybe 9-10k. There will be more than 6500....guaranteed.

One thing that hurts NDSU is not only losing to UND....but to a UND team with a losing record.

I just got back from the game with my son (he cheered for NDSU), great game. UND played really well. NDSU jumped to a big lead in the third set but UND took over and it was back and fourth until UND pulled it out at the end. Great crowd. That building reminded me of a high school gym, it was small and had a stage (it was where the band played). My first VB game (and first time in the fieldhouse), it was a lot of fun. A couple Bison fans in front of us chanted "whose your mascot". The guy next to me (UND fan), said you don't need a mascot to kick NDSU's ass. Correct you are!!! Before tonight the last win in Fargo for UND....October 19, 1976. I was 8 months old. Glad that streak is over.

A lot of USD fans will be drunk because this game will be over in the first quarter. Stupid of them not playing in the dome. NDSU will treat the game like playing at Dacotah Field.
