  1. Think about all the teams that started their "off season" threads on uscho over a month ago. I'm proud of this team and they provided a lot of excitement during the year. Thanks for your hard work and getting us into Frozen 4 again.
  2. Sometimes a change of venue is a good thing. When I had teams make it to the state (9 times) we would practice in different areas the week before and the athletes said it helped them get out of the "same old, same old " routine. Love the Rocky example someone shared. WHEN we are successful one week from tonight, this might become a tradition.
  3. I should have asked before but what month do they play the Icebreaker? Thanks.
  4. Great Lakes Invite is played in Detroit, but where is the Icebreakers games played? Thanks
  5. Home vs. SCSU on Dec.12-13 At SCSU on Jan.30-31 2009
  6. Last year I went to St. Louis and bought my tickets on Ebay. I have bought a lot of things on that site and have always been happy. When I got to St.Louis there were a lot of tickets for sale and I from what I remember there were empty seats in the arena during the games. If I had the time off from work I would take the bus and trust that tickets will be there when you get to Denver. Or I would be trying the ebay route. I'm guessing there are a lot of CC and Denver fans still trying to get rid of their tickets. Keep checking this site and also look on uscho site. Good luck but I wouldn't worry. Have fun and cheer loud for us that can't go.

  8. Just remember this type of humor started a riot in the east when they said we were being invaded from outer space on October 31st many many years ago. Not funny Orson!
  9. We (my wife and I) were at the games too and were surprised at the number of tickets for sale outside the arena on Sunday and the dusty empty seats all around. Watching the goal scored and seeing the Sioux raise their sticks as it went in while seeing the mass of red leave the building was like Moses lifting his staff with the Red Sea parting! After the game we made our way near the tunnel. Haks came by the faithful Sioux fans with double arms pumping. As the players came through my wife gave Oshie a high five and his glove came off and the next thing I knew she was holding it! I shouted "give it back give it back!" Oshies eyes just lit up and the smiles were great from this group as they headed towards their locker room. Sad to say after attending 19 games in person this year we can't make the trip to Denver. Oh and the ride home from Madison this a.m. was very quiet. Both of us had almost no voice left from last night. It was a great weekend. Finish the Mission Sioux!
  10. Oshie
  11. Did anyone see my wife and I on tv? I guess we were on in the 3rd period. Staying at the same hotel as the team and was in the lobby this a.m. with Bina's and TJ's dad. Fans and players look confident. Badger Fans are loud but feel once we get that lead, it will silent the Red.Go Sioux!
  12. Just got back to the hotel after watching a great game at the Kohl Center. Good group of Sioux fans. Only stayed for 1 period of the 2nd game, no beer sold there! Lots of red in the crowd. Should be a good game on Sunday night, team looks ready.
  13. I thought it was only fitting that they have UND for the April calendar since we're always still playing during that month.
  14. THANKS for the tip. I just cancelled our Super 8 reservation and did what you suggested. Got the The Madison Concourse Hotel located in downtown, a 3 star hotel for $58. They accepted my first bid.Hotel is 3/4 of a mile from the Kohl according to map quest. Looks like a nice place.
  15. $65
  16. I got mine on the Badger website. Also saw many for sale on ebay. $65 for the package of 3 games. UWBadgers.com
  17. He was doing a lot of walking around the arena between periods and I gave him the thumbs up and asked how he was feeling. He smiled and said, "better and better each day."
  18. It will be 5 weeks in a row now for getting to see the Sioux live and looking forward to the road trip to Madison. Anyone have any suggestions on which section is the best to watch the game or which end the Sioux will be shooting at twice? Thanks
  19. I just saw the promo too. Glad they included hockey and what a great highlight to include.

    Sioux vs CC

Just got home from the weekend in the cities. Great game today against CC. Best thing I saw off the ice was Trupp walking around with two shoes on. Last time I saw him was he had the walking cast on. Saying a prayer for complete healing for the young man. Great support by the Sioux fans as always. Fun to see many of you there. Stay loud, Be proud, Go Sioux!
  21. 12 noon on Friday and It starts 2 hours prior to the game on Saturday . The Hamms Building is a just a short walk from the Xcel Energy Center so I usually just park in the ramps or lots near the arena and walk from there. See you there!
  22. Yes, Noon on Friday Chili and Saturday BBQ pork sandwich. Stop by after the game on Friday too. Last year the band played and we followed it over to the game. Sure got my heart rate up or it might have been the beer too and the fact I was out of shape!
  23. The Sioux like Denver so much we're planning a trip to your city on April 10th-12th!
  24. Party in the Hamms Building Friday before the game! See everyone there!
  25. I totally agree, when I first saw them doing that earlier in the year I thought too they should save that announcement for the end of the game. Do they hand out the game ball on the side line of a football game during the 2 minute warning. Feeling very depressed because I had to drive back today and gave my tickets to friends for tonight. Will watch it on the internet instead. Go Sioux!
