  1. I was wondering if anyone had an extra calendar that was given away last Saturday that they would be willing to sell?
  2. Sorry to go off the subject.....but did anyone by chance record the game?? I would love to have a copy of it.....just let me know.
  3. I got reserved seats in the upper deck....anyone ever sat up there??? Are they good seats??
  4. I'm a USA fan all the way. But I am also a big Jonathan Toews fan.....so I'll be happy either way. If you are able to burn it, let me know.
  5. I was wondering if anyone could possibly tape the game tomorrow if they get it. Would be willing to pay for it. Just let me know.
  6. There are 4 Staals. Eric of course plays for Carolina, Marc plays in the OHL for Sudbury, Jordan with Pittsburgh, and Jared also plays for Sudbury. He's 16 and sounds like a pretty talented player himself.
  7. Has anyone heard when Meet the Sioux basketball teams is?
  8. Anyone know if hockey highlights are on Sioux Sports Weekly?
  9. Heard on the radio that Forney isn't dressing tonight. Just a precaution with his past shoulder injuries. He'll be back next weekend.
  10. There is info about Meet the Sioux at fightingsioux.com. It has the schedule and all the times. Can't wait for it
  11. I was unable to find it on the archives of the Herald, so I will post it myself- Toews, a class act, makes a classy choice McVille, N.D.- First of all, I have to say I'm a huge fighting UND Fighting Sioux fan. I follow and cheer with a passion for the football, basketball, and hockey teams. I just would like to commend Jonathan Toews on his decision to return to UND for his sophomore season. When I heard this news (which I'd been waiting to hear for some time), I was excited, proud, and very impressed. It takes quite a bit of maturity and composure to turn down a dream of going to the NHL to keep improving your skills at a lower level. I am almost 16 and could not imagine trying to make a decision like that. I have heard only good things about Toews, not only about his hockey skills, but also about him as a person. I wish all athletes were more like him. And his only being 18 make it even more impressive. I hope he doesn't regret his decision and enjoys his time at a great university. I look forward to watching him and his teammates this season and wish them the best of luck in their trek for a national Championship. Katie Schmitt
  12. Did anyone happen to see the letter to the editor in the paper a couple weeks ago about Toews? I believe it was in September 3rd's paper.
