If you had the opportunity at Weber or at UND which would you take? I honestly don't know how much Weber supports football but with the new IPF and the Alerus, UND has some nice positives for a future coach.

There are still three more years on the UND/Midco contract. How long is the KVLY contact last with NDSU? Is it an annual thing or is there a several year contract already in place? "Most out of state viewers" aren't Midco subscribers so they don't have any way of watching the games anyway unless it is put on FCS which doesn't help Midco anyway. Midco covers USD/SDSU and UND. Adding NDSU to that isn't going to suddenly mean no more broadcasts for UND. Midco is covering six UND basketball or volleyball games all year that don't involve NDSU, SDSU or USD.

Nope. and I've found that what happens in high school, college and the first four years after college defines you for the rest of your life. There's no way Hakstol can get over the lack of championships and neither can any of his staff nor the players on the ice every year. It's really those mite years that define a player/coach for the rest of their life. Although there is some debate that termites is really where the winners and losers are determined.

If I end up getting a free trip to work at the tournament, I will be making my way there as well with Mr and Mrs Siouxman.

Fire Hak only after 2 consecutive years of missing the NCAA tournament. Until then, he deserves to stay. His "systems" have produced some excellent results.

I don't think anyone has posted that losing the national tv deal is progress. not one person who has posted in this thread has said they're happy with the new deal. snake's reply was to your comment about technology not about the tv deal.

The contract is for 18 NCHC games. Not for an NCHC game every weekend. CBSSN has contracts with other conferences for other sports... just like every single network that broadcasts sports. Math really isn't your strong suit? Neither is google it seems. CBSSN showed 7 games featuring CCHA teams last year, 1 of which was a non-conference game. There were 11 teams in the CCHA last year and only 5 of those teams were on CBSSN. You can keep repeating that over and over but it doesn't make it true. What games were eliminated from national recognition this weekend due to the CBSSN deal?

I've been to Greeley several times since I live in Colorado. I'm not sure which is worse... Greeley or Pueblo but neither of them are nice places to live. Probably the tipping point for Greeley is that Fort Collins isn't too far away. That's about the best thing it has going for it.

Fiason doesn't have the dislike for NDSU that previous ADs have. He will hire whomever he feels is the best candidate regardless of what school they come from.
