  1. We need to wait and see what applicants we have come Tuesday. Faison likely has some guys who we haven't mentioned and he probably has a top 3 picked already. It's already obvious to every applicant that NDSU will be looking for a new coach. Rushing things this week will not provide any significant benefit. Take the time, get the right guy and announce it at the end of the week.
  2. Women finish the first half on a 17-4 run to lead the gophers 31-18 at the half. The Gophers are 8-2 on the season.
  3. Looks like that flight is no longer going to Laramie.
  4. His contract goes past this year. Chances are Bohl may want to stick around for bonus reasons. They host more games = higher attendance percentage. More playoff wins = more money.
  5. Plead guilty to noisy party violation. The same thing UND suspended Paul LaDue a game for, even though LaDue's was a dorm thing not a police thing.
  6. I too am upset about a service that was offered to UND subscribers for free as a benefit with no promise of quality!
  7. They have a right to ask for a refund... just like everyone does who bought specifically for this broadcast. UND has been very, very good about giving refunds for broadcasts that don't meet expectations.
  8. If you email UND about the feed and ask for a refund, they will likely give it to you. They realize the feed is nearly unwatchable tonight and generally are good at refund requests.
  9. One of the first bizon fans to finally admit how superior we are. If only the rest of the MooU crowd could see the light. Perhaps if we turned our halos towards the farm down south they could see a little clearer.
  10. gfhockey would be so proud as he does this:
  11. It's cute when you bring up a topic, someone replies and then you get all defensive. Drunk CAS clearly is much more hostile than usual.
  12. I'm disappointed gfhockey is banned so he can't join your Fire Faison? party. Anytime someone is on the same side as gfhockey you know they have a legitimate point.
  13. They are confidential but very reliable. I don't know why they left. I didn't ask.
  14. That opens it up to several people we have mentioned. It also includes a lot of people we may not know about and that's the exciting part. Speaking with Tom, he seems to think BB will apply and be a great candidate. I agree but I also know Faison knows a lot of people in the athletic world and the coach may be a surprise to all of us. The longer it drags on I think it is more likely it is someone we have mentioned. If it is announced Dec 10-13 then I think it will be someone Faison hand-picked.
  15. I agree. As the person who oversees the entire department, he needs to take responsibility. I have seen nothing from Faison that says he won't.
  16. Yup, it's pretty reasonable to assume President Kelley told Hardee it was cool to drive players drunk. I'm glad someone finally uncovered the corrupt culture at this school! Only a couple dozen more issues and UND can reach the vaunted goal of catching NDSU in criminal activity. UND is only in its second year of post-season competition, so while they have passed NDSU in every sport they play, they still have a long way to go to be as criminally active as the bizun.
  17. I believe that is the part in the most recent article that talks about Faison trying to figure out how Hardee was allowed to drive a vehicle if he didn't have his license. Possibly administrative error, in which that person should be punished and likely will.
  18. Left the bar early tonight? Surprised you didn't close it down.
  19. What I'm gathering from all of these posts is that people want a mole in the UND athletic department that reports any suspicious activity to the Herald.
  20. I don't see anyone arguing that. Congrats. You and a majority of the posters here deserve a medal for saying the exact same thing. Call out Hardee all you want for his actions. He made those decisions and has to live with them now. Faison acted on Hardee's illegal activities. I'm honestly curious what punishment Bohl has received for the numerous tickets.
  21. I'm sure Ellen Kreiger's dad and Brian Faison would have been just as open and honest with a newspaper that only covers UND volleyball when they play NDSU. It's quite the moving target that people want the Herald to do more investigative-type reporting into the UND athletic dept but when they do they still get criticized because someone posts an unofficial police blotter that the Herald already knew about but couldn't use as a news source.
  22. So the Herald reported Hardee was put on leave and then just let the rest of the story fall in their lap? No calls to Hardee, players, player's coaches (who gave an interview), the PSU police, Brian Faison? No work to do here! All we needed was a UND press release and a PSU blotter and we would have the same info we have now, right? I don't mean to get snippy, I just know how much work a story like this takes to cover. It's not easy and the herald did a lot of work to get the facts, make sure they were facts and consistently update a complicated story.
  23. I agree SS.com is great information sharing place, especially on this story but the first post is a tweet from the Herald. There is a reason links to herald articles are continuously posted in this thread... that's where the best reporting is being done. There are 7 links in this thread. 5 to Herald articles, one to a nice calendar and one to the PSU Blotter.
  24. Yup, that looks like about 95% of the information.
